5 Messages from St. Charbel

St. Charbel is a powerful intercessor yet many do not know anything about him. This week we discuss 5 messages from St. Charbel on how to live a holy life. Don't be distracted with outside things Do not sell your souls in the markets of this world Do not condemn, do not put in your mind preconceived ideas and judgments about anyone. When you make a mistake admit it, profess your misdeed, confess it, and correct as much as you can. The word in your mouth is like the stone in the sling, once released you won't be able to take it back. About our drink: Kings County Straight Bourbon is a bourbon made like a scotch whiskey. We use 80% New York organic corn from the Finger Lakes, and English Golden Promise barley for a high malt recipe that avoids the wheat or rye typically in Kentucky bourbon. We double pot distill for a more flavorful white spirit, and age in a variety of new charred oak barrels for 3-6 years. Rich in caramel, vanilla, and holiday spice, this bottle is cited frequently in lists of best non-Kentucky bourbons. Younger than some mainstream bourbons, this is a precocious whiskey, surprisingly robust for its age. About our drink: Wyoming Whiskey Double Cask A whiskey gets its color and character from the cask in which it ages and matures. This Double Cask whiskey goes through the process twice. The first five years of maturation in a new charred oak barrel makes it a bourbon. That bourbon then experiences secondary maturation in decades-old casks seasoned by Pedro Ximenez sherry that adds a touch of sweetness, and yields a smooth and impressively complex spirit.
