Description
Welcome back everyone, I am Jeffrey Calhoun, and we are still stuck in Lincoln. This is The Center of College Football, a basic college football talk show from some 17 year old, except with a heck of a lot less bias, and a heck of a lot more passion. During the season, I will post about once a week about the past week's games, the upcoming games, and whatever else I feel angry about that week. Hope you all enjoy! Wow. What a season. And Michigan has won it all. The final year of the four team playoff system, and this year did not disappoint. College football has come and gone. And all we can do is wait for another year of glory.
After hundreds of games, some crazy stories, comebacks, matchups, and so much more, two teams remain. A combined 28-0 with magnificent offenses, this one is for all the marbles. Who will come out on top?
The college football landscape has been turned on its head. The last week came up with a lot of controversy, but it has people wondering, who was right? Will teams around the country prove they belong, or will the committee prove they knew what they were doing.
Conference Championship week is finally here! Eight teams are alive for the playoff hunt still and there is still a lot of chaos to happen. The season is far from over.
One. More. Week. The regular season is coming to a close and I for one could not be more excited. There are tons of conference championship spots left to be claimed, teams in win or go home situations, and so much more.
Two weeks. That is all we have left. Every Power Five conference has at least one team left in the playoff hunt and most have two. The final stretch is coming up and the crown is still up for the taking.
Eleven teams remain looking for a playoff spot. Teams are starting clinch conference championship spots and the great are truly starting to separate themselves from the rest. But do not be fooled, the best of the season is not over yet.
This past week proved that there is not such thing as a boring week of college football. Only one ranked matchup, but a ton of upsets, crazy wins, and shakeup in the playoff picture. Strap in folks, things are about to get interesting.
18 teams are left vying for a playoff spot and most teams are two thirds of the way through their season. As quickly as it has seemed to come. The season is almost over. Who will come out victorious?
Week 7 might have been week of the year. Upsets, hail Mary's, breakout players, and more. Week 8 looks to be more boring, but will it truly be? The rest of the year has yet to disappoint, and I doubt this one will.
The first half of the regular season has come and gone. Wow. It seems like just yesterday the season started. Eleven undefeated teams remain, five are bowl eligible and just 32 remain looking for a playoff spot. Who will come out on top?
The season has flown by and is almost halfway done. Nearly 100 teams have been knocked from playoff contention and leave just 40 teams looking for a spot, perceived contenders have been knocked and Cinderellas are emerging. Who will come out on top?
While week 6 is shaping up to be a calmer week, week 5 was incredibly entertaining with amazing games and plenty of upsets. The tope teams are starting to thin out and things are becoming very interesting very fast.
Week three was projected to be a boring week and blew expectations out of the water. Week four on the other hand had a lot of hype behind it. Countless ranked matchups and undefeated teams squaring off are looking to make this one to remember.
Week 2 was a sight to behold with quite a few upsets and teams solidifying their spots in the top 25. As we get closer to conference play, week 3 seems to be even better than last week.
Week 1 gave us a ton of entertainment. With plenty of upsets and surprises to go around, this season is shaping up to be incredible and there is no shortage of great games in week 2. From previews of future SEC matchups, to potential group of 5 upsets, week two is shaping up to be even better than week 1.
The first full week of the season is officially here!!! Before the week has even started, there are already plenty of headlines. Will Utah get revenge on Florida? Can Florida State start their playoff run strong? The 2023 season fully starts right here.
YEAR FIVE BABY WOOHOO!!!!! The long wait is finally over and college football is back. 7 games will hit your screen tomorrow and I am here to talk about them all and more. Strap in everyone. The Center of College Football is back.
Wow. What a season, 2022 absolutely did not disappoint even thought the title game very much did. Thank you all for an incredible season and take a listen as I wrap up a great year.
Two teams remain. Georgia trying to win it all back to back and TCU still trying to prove people wrong. Red vs. Purple, Dawgs vs. Frawgs. Who will come out on top?
