Our last episode for season one  is with the phenomenal and incredibly accomplished Jessie Stephens. We all worked together at Mamamia and it a fabulous episode where we talk to Jessie about motherhood, writing a book (or two in Jessie’s case), being an aunty and everything in between.  Anyone who is a Mamamia follower might remember the disagreement that Mia and Jessie had about being a stay at home mum. Mia took the side that being a stay at home mum is intellectually boring and not very stimulating, and at the time Jessie thought that it would be a fun thing to do. We ask Jessie how she feels about this now as a mum to a 7mth old!  Jessie is already so accomplished as a writer, author, presenter (tv, radio and podcast) and script writer, what is left or next to do for Jessie?  It is an episode not to be missed.  Cathy O’Brien https://www.instagram.com/cathy_l_obrien/ Laura Jackel https://www.instagram.com/lauracjackel/ Mentions: With thanks to Jessie Stephens https://www.instagram.com/jessiestephens90/  Buy Jessie’s books here: Something Bad is Going to Happen  Heartsick National Geographic links about menopause and hot flushes Is it possible to cure hot flushes? When we are parents to littles we all have this vision that when our littles become big, being a parent will be somehow easier. So what happens to our sense of who we are when we get relegated to the sidelines and are no longer the participant parent in our kids' lives?  In this episode we speak with Bron about life as a mum and how this has evolved over the past nearly 20 years, and what she is most looking forward to in her third act!  Bron is a passionate advocate for working parents.  She has written extensively about life balance, common sense and the ‘good enough’ mother. Through her parenting website Mumlyfe, Bron aims to help parents of tweens and teens to flourish, so they can nurture enlightened, passionate kids who make a difference.
