What an absolute creamer of a podcast!Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast! The genius behind Kasabian, Sergio Lorenzo Pizzorno, joined Chris and the team in the studio this week. Serge told us about their upcoming album in the summer, and that he is buzzing to play to 50,000 people at the band’s huge upcoming Finsbury Park gig next year!Grant from Feeder also joined us this week. He spoke about the band’s biggest song, Buck Rogers, telling Chris that he originally wrote the song for another band and that he doesn’t actually like the song all that much. Grant also shared info about the new 2025 remastered version of 2002 album Comfort in Sound.Lewis Goodall is one of the News Agents trio, and has released a brand new podcast on Global Player: Coining It. Etiquette expert William Hanson waltzed in for a huge podcast announcement and more importantly, try something he’s never got his mouth around before. Jason Byrne was on the show this week to talk about his love of Bono, and his UK tour of new show ‘Head In The Clouds’. And the guy who once sat behind a laptop, Richard Osman, popped by to discuss his books being made into films by Steven Spielberg, spelling Piers Brosnan's name incorrectly, and his new book ‘The Impossible Fortune’ that made Chris cry. That’s all for this week but keep an ear out for these crackers:A certain jam eater’s birthday Dom's nudey cruiseOne of our most excited winners of tickets ever! Enjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30am - 10am
What a tour!Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. To celebrate ten years of Radio X, Chris and the team carried out their Massive Decade Tour. They hosted the show live from five locations around the country, with locations of special significance to them all. They started the week live in a barn on the legendary Blur bassist, Alex James’s farm. Well when I say barn, let’s be honest it's more like a cathedral! Alex gave them a tour of the place and chatted about the incredible musicians he’s hosted on his farm and spoke on his life now as a full-time farmer. The team then dashed to Wrexham where they presented live from the Turf pub, literally touching distance from the Wrexham A.F.C. football stadium. After chatting with landlord Wayne and some locals who popped by, they made their next stop in Chris’s hometown: Leeds, where more shenanigans went down. Next it was to Brown- I mean Whitehaven, where Chris unveiled a very special surprise for the locals, before making their final stop in Glasgow on Friday, where they did the show live from their hotel in front of an audience.Throughout all of this chaos, each day a lucky listener won £10,000 as a thank you for supporting Radio X over all these years. We also had special guests along the way, such as Humphrey Ker, Susie McCabe and the one and only McWobinson.Normality will resume next week as Chris et al. will be back in the studio (after some seriously well earned rest!)Keep an ear out for these best bits:Captain’s loverFermenting your plumsRichard Ashcroft lookalike (...kind of)Enjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30am - 10am

I have to praise you like a shoe! Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast.Things returned to normal this week as Chris was home from Ibiza and back in the driving seat on Monday morning. It was a cracker of a week with a few games here and there, an iconic guest and of course, lots of silly moments. The legendary Eric Idle joined the team for a chat this week covering a range of topics from John Cleese to The Rutles. He also promoted his upcoming UK tour that features a virtual band, singalongs, humorous stories from his career and some rare footage from over the years.Dom was fresh from the stage, as we got highlights from his recent stand-up show! For his second ever set, he was asked to do 5 minutes for the Rode Comedy Festival, and it was at 18 minutes he realised he needed to wrap it up! In a hilarious feature this week, listeners messaged in for our Stupid Amnesty with things they learned embarrassingly late in life… such as one listener who discovered that gherkins are, and have always been, cucumbers!Well, you read all of that did you? As it turns out, the best they could find was some new Combi Boilers at a Bowls Club in London. If you’re well behaved, we’ll sprinkle in these extras for ya…Dom gets his glock outAmanda Holden’s Tequila and Taco nightRound 2 of Producer John’s gameEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30am - 10am
What’s your favourite water creature?Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week could have been one of the greatest weeks of radio ever. Until all of our guests cancelled… But that didn’t stop us from talking to some of the biggest names in entertainment! We’d already prepared questions for Mark Hamill, Dame Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan, so why not get some of our listeners to pretend to be the celebs and answer the questions? As you may have seen in the Daily Star, Toby got into a spot of bother over the weekend when he accidentally hit someone with a golf ball. Once you find out who he hit and what they were doing at the time, you’ll understand why this story made national headlines…Also, on the day that thousands of students were anxiously waiting to receive their GCSE results, we put Dom through a slightly different examination. Spoiler alert: he did NOT like the results. You want more yummy yummy content? See you at the bungalow, Captain!Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast.Ahead of the Premier League starting back up again, Jamie Carragher joined the team to talk about his predictions for the season. With Leeds being promoted into the league, and Liverpool reigning champions, Chris and Dom had quite a few questions for him!Harriet Kemsley was the latest comedian to come on the show and share her advice for Dom, whose performance at the Rode Comedy Festival grows worryingly closer by the week. She told Dom that one of the best ways to prepare for a comedy gig is to write material. This may sound obvious, but then again this is Dom we’re talking about.Instead of ‘who are you?’, this week we asked our mystery guest ‘what are you doing?’. Quite cruelly, Dom was the only one in the studio who didn’t know, which made for some fun (awkward) listening. Also this week, we were introduced to Captain’s girlfriend, who turned out to be a little bit older than we were expecting… Plus, Dom explained how he stays cool at home with the help of a woman named Janine!Oh, you’re still reading? Luckily, his boss wasn’t listening. Only joking, his boss was listening, and even messaged in.. Oops!Sara Pascoe took some time out of her busy schedule to join us on the show, sharing some words of advice with Dom ahead of his upcoming set at the Rode Comedy Festival. We’ll have to wait and see if Dom takes any of that advice on board. Place your bets now…Also this week, Willy Tickle met Da Boss. Plus, a listener sent in some traditional Scottish headwear, which obviously meant that everyone had to put it on and do a Scottish accent. Or at least I think that’s what they were doing. But that, dear listener, is not all:We crash the Uber appDom struggles with technologyAdam Brown can’t do radioEnjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30am - 10am

The album is a collection of songs he wrote in his 20s before his rise to fame, recorded in a studio for the first time. He also spoke about Matilda The Musical and how unbelievably talented the child actors for the theatre shows are. It has been Dom’s dream to play The London Palladium for years now and I wonder if Chris’s surprise has anything to do with that? I love the podcasts. This is going to sound like I ought to hang my head in shame but I just cannot stand the music played on Radio X. I'm much more of the music that's played on Radio 1 no matter how hard I try to embrace the predominantly indie rock stuff on Radio X. I listen to the podcast because it is the best of the studio content without the music.... Avid listener of the Radio 1 breakfast show back in the day and love the Radio X podcast. Keep up the fantastic work team...
