She came into the studio to chat about the new season of Trigger Point. She spoke to Toby and the team about the unique experience of working with real-world bomb diffusers on set as they aim to make the show as close to reality as possible. What she didn’t expect coming into the studio this week however, was to be playing a game that involved delivering electric shocks to producer John.Next, Russell Tovey popped into the studio to talk about his new book: Art School (in a book): A future artist's guide to contemporary Art. He spoke about the inaccessibility of the art world for an outsider and how intimidating it can be. The Chris Moyles Show Massive Decade Tour Edition #513

What a tour!Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. To celebrate ten years of Radio X, Chris and the team carried out their Massive Decade Tour. They hosted the show live from five locations around the country, with locations of special significance to them all. They started the week live in a barn on the legendary Blur bassist, Alex James’s farm. Well when I say barn, let’s be honest it's more like a cathedral! Alex gave them a tour of the place and chatted about the incredible musicians he’s hosted on his farm and spoke on his life now as a full-time farmer. The team then dashed to Wrexham where they presented live from the Turf pub, literally touching distance from the Wrexham A.F.C. football stadium. After chatting with landlord Wayne and some locals who popped by, they made their next stop in Chris’s hometown: Leeds, where more shenanigans went down. Next it was to Brown- I mean Whitehaven, where Chris unveiled a very special surprise for the locals, before making their final stop in Glasgow on Friday, where they did the show live from their hotel in front of an audience.Throughout all of this chaos, each day a lucky listener won £10,000 as a thank you for supporting Radio X over all these years. We also had special guests along the way, such as Humphrey Ker, Susie McCabe and the one and only McWobinson.Normality will resume next week as Chris et al. will be back in the studio (after some seriously well earned rest!)Keep an ear out for these best bits:Captain’s loverFermenting your plumsRichard Ashcroft lookalike (...kind of)Enjoy! The Chris Moyles Show on Radio XWeekdays 6:30am - 10am

He also promoted his upcoming UK tour that features a virtual band, singalongs, humorous stories from his career and some rare footage from over the years.Dom was fresh from the stage, as we got highlights from his recent stand-up show! For his second ever set, he was asked to do 5 minutes for the Rode Comedy Festival, and it was at 18 minutes he realised he needed to wrap it up! In a hilarious feature this week, listeners messaged in for our Stupid Amnesty with things they learned embarrassingly late in life… such as one listener who discovered that gherkins are, and have always been, cucumbers!Well, you read all of that did you? What’s your favourite water creature?Welcome back to the Chris Moyles Show on Radio X Podcast. This week could have been one of the greatest weeks of radio ever. Until all of our guests cancelled… But that didn’t stop us from talking to some of the biggest names in entertainment! We’d already prepared questions for Mark Hamill, Dame Helen Mirren, and Pierce Brosnan, so why not get some of our listeners to pretend to be the celebs and answer the questions? As you may have seen in the Daily Star, Toby got into a spot of bother over the weekend when he accidentally hit someone with a golf ball. Once you find out who he hit and what they were doing at the time, you’ll understand why this story made national headlines…Also, on the day that thousands of students were anxiously waiting to receive their GCSE results, we put Dom through a slightly different examination. With Leeds being promoted into the league, and Liverpool reigning champions, Chris and Dom had quite a few questions for him!Harriet Kemsley was the latest comedian to come on the show and share her advice for Dom, whose performance at the Rode Comedy Festival grows worryingly closer by the week. She told Dom that one of the best ways to prepare for a comedy gig is to write material. This may sound obvious, but then again this is Dom we’re talking about.Instead of ‘who are you?’, this week we asked our mystery guest ‘what are you doing?’. Quite cruelly, Dom was the only one in the studio who didn’t know, which made for some fun (awkward) listening. Also this week, we were introduced to Captain’s girlfriend, who turned out to be a little bit older than we were expecting… Plus, Dom explained how he stays cool at home with the help of a woman named Janine!Oh, you’re still reading?
