Description

The Chrissy Beth Show is a podcast for women navigating motherhood, identity, change, and the many ways life asks us to find our own path.

Hosted by Chrissy Beth Hubbard, the show brings together honest conversations about motherhood, relationships, birth, perimenopause, intuition, reinvention, and what it means to live in alignment with who you truly are. Drawing on lived experience, Human Design, and thoughtful conversations with guests, Chrissy invites women to question the idea that there is one “right” way to mother, live, love, or grow.

In this episode of The Chrissy Beth Show, Chrissy is joined by Kali from Birth Nectar for an honest conversation about motherhood, birth, perimenopause, single motherhood, intuition, and the many different ways women find their way through life. Both navigating motherhood in their forties, Chrissy and Kali explore the pressure women can feel to do things the “right” way—and what happens when we stop looking outside ourselves for all the answers. From birth experiences and changing bodies to major life transitions and learning to trust yourself again, this conversation is a reminder that there is no single path that fits every woman. At the heart of the episode is a simple idea: there is no one right way. Motherhood, womanhood and life ask each of us to come back to our own intuition, listen deeply, and find the way that is true for us.Motherhood, Intuition & Finding Your Own Way is a warm, real conversation for women who are ready to trust themselves a little more and live with greater authenticity, confidence and freedom. You can find Kali and learn more about Birth Nectar at www.birthnectar.org or on Instagram at @birth_nectar.

This is a recording of me reading my latest Substack post and wanted to share the audio here. Recently I’ve felt pulled to share more about my journey into motherhood and how it came to me much “later in life” than others. I put quotes around it because I feel time is a wild thing to try to label and in general, society has very much tried to give us parameters on what is “appropriate” for our lives. I truly believe that every woman’s fertility and motherhood journeys are so unique. There is no right or wrong, and all paths can come with its benefits as well as challenges.I didn’t start trying for babies until after 40.If you would prefer to read or see the full Substack post here is the link: https://open.substack.com/pub/chrissybeth/p/the-mother-urge?utm_campaign=post-expanded-share&utm_medium=web
I recorded these affirmations on a morning walk as I move into a season of transition and becoming. This is a gentle audio for women in the in-between — for moments of walking, resting, or quiet reflection. You don’t need to do anything while you listen. Just let the words meet you where you are.
In this episode, I sit down with my husband Craig — a Projector in Human Design — and we have one of the most honest and intimate conversations we’ve shared on the podcast.I ask him about what life actually feels like inside the body and experience of a Projector, how he parents as a Projector, and how understanding his design has shaped the way he shows up as a father, a partner and a business owner. We talk about:What it feels like to live as a ProjectorCraig shares how he experiences the world, how he manages his energy, and what shifted for him when Human Design finally started to make sense.Parenting as a ProjectorWe explore how understanding his design changed the way he connects with our kids, supports them, and holds space for them without pushing himself into burnout.Marriage, recognition and being truly seenCraig opens up about what helps him feel understood and supported in our relationship, and how important recognition is for him as a Projector.Leaving the city and choosing a different pathWe talk about the decision to leave city life, buy the farm, and create a rhythm for our family that feels aligned and sustainable — even when it didn’t make sense on paper.Alone time, creativity and nervous system needsCraig shares how he balances his deep need for solitude with parenting, partnership, business and responsibility, and why honouring this has been essential for his wellbeing. The early lessonsWe reflect on the biggest things he learned when he first discovered he was a Projector, and how that understanding changed the way he approaches decisions and direction.Conscious fatherhood and entrepreneurshipFrom running the farm to building businesses to raising our kids with awareness, Craig talks about the lessons, challenges, and breakthroughs that have shaped him along the way. This conversation is raw, grounded and very real. If you’re a Projector — or you’re raising one, partnered with one, or love one — my hope is that this episode helps you understand them more deeply. For more resources and programs on Human Design and to get your free Human Design Chart, you can visit:www.chrissybethcoaching.com
