One of my passions when it comes to being a Christian using the Enneagram is noticing where our unconscious stories can start to feel like truth, when they’re not. This can show up on a personal level, as well as on a social/cultural/historical level. The church is not exempt from these expectations we place on people in our community. And when human expectations turn into ideological, theological, or cultural necessities, problems aboundListen in to my conversation with Amy Wicks of Wholehearted Enneagram for the ways we can feel “put in a box” in our church communities, and some possible solutions for how to create a personality diverse space, where we appreciate all healthy attributes of those around us, even the ones that are out of our personal or community comfort zone.Have a thought about this conversation? I’d love to hear from you over on Instagram! And did you know that the next Wholehearted Enneagram Summit is coming up soon? It starts on September 12, 2022, and I’ll be on the panel of speakers. You can grab a free ticket (or an all access pass, whichever works best for you) by heading to the registration page. There will be loads of experts sharing about different parts of the Enneagram or how to apply it to different areas of life, and it’s going to be awesome. I hope to see you there!
