Welcome to another action packed episode of The Cluck. This ep I'm lucky enough to be joined by non-stop animal activist Jayson Sim. Jayson is a co-organiser of Sydney Animal Save and Sydney Climate Save as well as a volunteer for the Animal Justice Party and Animal Liberation. If you attend any Sydney animal rights event it's likely you'll see Jayson there, usually as an organiser. I talk to Jayson about why he felt drawn to his work with the Save movement and the power of bearing witness. Today I was lucky enough to have a volunteer squad from Sydney Boy's High come and help out at the hen rescue. Anger is an emotion that I am over-familiar with. After watching footage of what animals go through, I find my heart pounding, hands shaking and steam coming out of my ears - at least that's what it feels like.
