The little fella is back as we pay tribute to John from Richmond….one of our absolute favourites. We cover off the Top 4 contenders and argue our way through who we think can challenge them. Our Sporting World segment takes us to a live cross of the final test between India and England…what a thriller.The Turtle gives us another list and we cover off on our tweeters
After the Coach returns from leave, the little man, Tex, decides to have a spell. So Coach and Turtle break down all the key issues, and cover the big talking points including the Collingwood, loss, the bona fides of Adelaide and Freo and how bad Brad Scott is actually going. The Turtle has another list and we pay tribute to a couple of our favourite tweeters!!
The Coach is on his North American odyssey, whilst Tex and Turtle hold down the fort admirably. They run through the Tom Lynch saga, Collingwood’s dominance and take great joy in Carlton’s implosion. The Turtle has another list and Tex tells some more tails from the boundary line.

Another week, another episode. the Coach and Turtle carry the load again while Tex continues his early season leave. the Coach digs deep into his well to cover a variety of key things happening in the AFL. We take a look at sport around the world, with a peek at the NBA, and finally the Turtle takes a look at the captains who are “getting up his nose”.
The lads bounce back off a short one week turnaround and break down the four first week finals. The Coach is scathing and transparent in his assessment and goes to town when he puts a few in the firing line in his pressure gauge segment. Tex provides his latest betting advice and discusses player power, and we take a new look at Tweeters of the Week.
The lads are back with their prognostications around the first week of finals. All the games are looked at, as well as season debriefs for a number of clubs. The Coach has his say on the All Australian team and Tex provides some more punting advice.
The boys are back after Tex has returned from his mid season trip to Europe. They breakdown the “players” in the upcoming finals series and the Coach puts a few through the pressure gauge. And a brand new tweeter joins the crew.
In another “texless” episode Shane and Turtle go head to head on all the key issues. They have a crack at ranking their top 3 players in the 300, 350 and 400 clubs! Turtle goes rogue and has another multi for everyone and the Coach gets into the Tweeters of the Week
While Tex is off sunning himself in Europe, the Coach and Turtle take control and review the Carlton uprising, look at the top 4 and top 8 challengers and also rans. The Coach puts a few under the microscope, and Turtle takes over the tirade
Things get willing as the lads farewell Tex on his mid year European sojourn. They take a look at the break away Swans and make their tips for Top 4 and Top 8. They (except Tex) celebrate #dusty300 and the Coach gives us his mid year All Australian side
The lads are back to review the trip to the ‘Bool, and take a look at the first half of the year. Never short of an opinion, they dissect half the league! The Coach puts a few of his brethren under the microscope, whilst Tex gives his views on Sir Doug Nicholls round.
After another bye, the lads attack the big issues - who’s travelling better, AFL inconsistency and bloody Harley Reid!! The Coach puts a couple under the pressure gauge and Tex delivers a win.
The lads dive into the first part of the season as they work through which teams are are already off track, who is under the Coach’s microscope, Tex has some sure bets and some fantastic small talk around what’s going on in the world
The lads are back to preview opening round and answer the tough questions! Coach puts a few more in the pressure gauge and Tex is back on the punt. And someone has spotted Mick the Bus Driver!!
After a long summer the lads are back with a witty start to 2024. Plenty of off season chat, social banter and a touch of footy. The Coach comes off the long run and Tex has more bad bets to share!
In a special tribute to our favourite bloke, we honour Shane Morwood, and induct him into The Coach and Tex Hall of Fame, as our first member. We go deep and personal with him as we explore the way he found the game, conquered the game, and then lives life beyond the game.
