This episode features an injured runner about to go under the knife to fix a bad knee and we talk about how this runner/coach is dealing with his/her injury. Listen in to find which one of our coaches has been dealt this difficult hand. Hopefully some of you can relate to this frustrating situation.  Also, we talk about Vo2max, running economy, 200 mile races and much, much more.
In this episode we discuss VO2Max after Daniel completed a test in the lab as part of a study at the University of South Australia. Daniel takes us through the protocols that go into VO2Max testing and we then discuss the ramifications for training. We then look at the pros and cons of this kind of testing and whether it is something that is necessary for all athletes to know. Listen in to find out all the details.
