After a long time thinking about it, New Jersey-based alternative folk band Cold Weather Company decided to make a podcast!
The three-piece kicked things off with audio from their last two Zoom Global Open Mics (a bi-weekly event started during the quarantine to offer artists, friends, and listeners—The Cold Weather Collective—a chance to hang out and share their work).
Moving forward, CWC has plans to share conversations with other musicians and artists of all kinds about their process and break down their own. They'll also have special episodes with involvement from their Discord community featuring discussions on hobbies, dramatic readings, and whatever else they feel like!

On May 9th, we held our second Global Open Mic on Zoom! Across over 20 unique acts, we had music (including a lute and a DJ set—separately, but imagine?), art, pets, a LOTR monologue, dramatic readings, new friends, and a few long overdue virtual reunions!
This first episode is our live recording from our first Global Open Mic that was held on Zoom on April 26th as an opportunity for artists, friends, and listeners worldwide (part of the Cold Weather Collective) to hang out, share their work and take a bit of a break from everything going on.
