Matt has been sober since May 17, 2010.
Before he got sober, he led a double life. He'd always been busy. He filled his days with teaching, coaching, waiting on tables, bartending, and tutoring. On the surface, he had it all together: teaching at an elite private school and a varsity-level coaching job. He moved through life appeasing others, telling people what they wanted to hear.
Underneath the facade, he was trapped in a self-destructive cycle. At the time, he was surrounded by friends who were moving forward in their lives, friends who were getting married and having babies. Matt, on the other hand, felt stuck. He kept himself busy because he didn’t want to get real about how he was feeling.
In 2010, Matt was sick and tired of putting up the facade. After being arrested for a DUI, he checked myself into rehab.
Matt was able to get and stay sober because of his incredible network of friends and family, including his wife, Chelsea. As soon as he created FROPRO, Matt finally felt like his actions aligned with his passions; He was no longer living a double life, but instead a multifaceted one. He's still busy; he always will be. But now Matt fills his days with people and things that bring him joy.
Addiction does not define Matt, but it is a central tenet of his story. He has been able to accomplish these goals because of his experience with addiction, not in spite of it. Matt's goal is to use his platform to educate, inspire, and bring attention to recovery.
About FroPro:
Welcome! We are Chelsea and Matt Williams, a husband and wife team who created FROPRO. We’re grateful you’re here.
FROPRO is a clean-food company that makes protein-rich snack bars. All of our bars are made with organic nut butter and organic, plant-based protein because we believe that good food fuels you to be the best version of yourself.
At its core, FROPRO is more than just a bar; it’s a community. We are a group of people who are committed to bettering themselves. People who have faced trials and hardships. People who recognize that life is measured by the effort you put forth, not merely by the results you achieve. FROPRO is built on second chances. Our bar is just a part of that equation.
Our mission is to make and share wholesome snacks, create a community of people dedicated to bettering themselves, and spread awareness about and advocate for people working through addiction and towards recovery. For us, that work starts with FROPRO.
In 24 months, 26-year-old Alejandro Porro made national news after he lost nearly 300 lbs. After seeing 480 lbs. on the scale for the first time, he decided to make the change. Here's how he did it with two simple solutions.
Dr. Khatami grew up in South Florida and founded Atlantic Grove Chiropractic & Rehabilitation in 2009, a practice he still operates. He serves as a Team Chiropractor for Florida Atlantic University Athletic Department and serves as corporate physician for PepsiCo. At age 16, Dr. Khatami was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and was blessed to find the head of pediatric oncology at Jackson Memorial Hospital, Dr. Stuart Toledano. Dr. Khatami became passionate about healthcare because of the “teaching approach” Dr. Toledano took while treating him. Dr. Khatami emulates this treatment philosophy and educational approach to patient care today. The motto; “Never stop learning” has lead Dr. Khatami to various post-graduate fellowships and certifications in the areas of functional assessments and treatments. He attended the International Baccalaureate program at Atlantic Community High School. He received his B.S. in Psychology from the University of Florida where he completed the pre-medical program and earned his Chiropractic Doctorate at Texas Chiropractic College in Houston, Texas.
Dr. Khatami’s teaching approach as well as searching for patients’ underlying deficit, whether orthopedic, systemic, or neurological led to the creation of FTX Wellness.

The RAW Tennis Performance Training Program focuses on training “movement, not muscles.” Richard spends time in the gym getting his players stronger but his focus is on functional movements, especially those specific to tennis.
He concentrates on stability, flexibility, explosiveness and proper movement patterns.
His program also is full of pre-hab exercises because our first aim is to keep his players healthy and on the court.
The Change of Direction progression system is a highlight of the RAW Tennis Performance Training Program because tennis players change direction on average every 1.1 seconds! That cannot be replicated by just doing endless sets of squats and lunges. Get the most out of yourself and your game; get The Edge! It’s easier not to be great!!

Today's episode is ALL about how to build a business culture and leadership skills for business success!
Oh, and a bunch of "okay" jokes too.
I have the man, the myth, the legend himself - LOS SILVA (@LosHustle), Founder and CEO of SVG Media in the studio to talk all things past, present, and future when it comes to effective leadership and management skills - but more importantly, how to IMPROVE management and leadership skills.
Los should know - 5 years ago, his former business fizzled out and he was left with nothing.
Fast forward to today, and he just bought a brand new office, has built an 8-figure business and has a team of 10-20 hustlers making magic happen. He runs one of the largest fitness influencer marketing businesses in the world, and he's just getting started.
My man Heath Evans in in the building! What an awesome opportunity this was to go deep into Heaths story - his journey from high school football, to making it in the NFL (Seahawks to the New England Patriots), and all of his success... but not only that...
First things first: You can't talk about the wins and positivity, without talking about the struggles and life ambushes that come with any success story.
Heath's story is inspiring.
A man who has been proud to stand up and change into the man he wanted to become. A man who wants to find happiness and TRULY how to live life with TRUTH. If you saw the Heath Evans Your Moms House Podcast with Tom Segura, it was AMAZING right?
Glad I could have a guest of that standard on The Come Up!
I'm THRILLED to have women's college basketball coach of the Lynn University FLIGHTING KNIGHTS, Coach Julia Huddleston Tucker in the building!
This Atlanta native has quite the story - and brings quite the literally meaning to the title of the Podcast - her come up story is inspiring and will light a fire under anyone looking to further their career. Nicknamed, 'Coach Hudd', she had previously served as the lead assistant at Furman University as well as other positions at Virginia Commonwealth and Austin Peay State.
Coach Hudd has a background in both soccer and basketball, but shares her story about burnout, recovering, what happens during the off-season, her love for the business and her team. A true leader!
