Time to pack up the family and forcefully make them sit through a Colorado winter nightmare in a haunted hotel so you can try to not fail at writing. The Shining will show us the darker side of getting snowed in. It’s not all cuddles and cocoa. Heeeeeere’s JOHNNY! Come play with us….

Our good friend Gareth Reynolds is back as a special guest, so you know we had to pick a banger of a movie to review. Demolition Man gives us everything we could ever want in a movie. Cryo-prisons, underground rat-burger restaurants, no physical touch, Taco Bells on every corner, Los Angeles in perfect harmony, seashells for toilet paper. Sounds like the ideal future to us and this episode is hilarious. Enjoy!

Well friends, we are finally doing it. On today’s episode, we discuss the #9 highest rated movie on IMDB, winner of 4 Oscars, the first film in a trilogy that is widely regarded as one of the greatest and ost influential film series ever made and the highest-grossing film series of all time, having grossed over $2.9 billion worldwide. We are of course talking about 2001's The Lord of the Ring - Fellowship of the Ring.

If you have been following this show for awhile, you know our history with The Boondock Saints. We reviewed the first one and mostly still loved it as much as we did nostalgically. But our history with Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day is much darker. What can largely be viewed as one of the worst sequels ever, Mike and Sean sentenced it to some jail-time in our “On-trial” episode. It’s out and we figured it was time to talk about it again. Did it get any better with age?

Home Alone 2 might be better than the first. It’s the same movie, with the same characters and same plot…. but then they went and added Tim Curry. Join us as we breakdown this classic on Christmas Day. Is this better than the original? Why is Kevin’s family so bad at traveling and why do they treat him so badly? It was our #1 rated nostalgic movie and we have at least 3 punchable faces, so tune in for a good time!

The Holiday is one of the rare gems. It's love at first sight for Rom-Com fans but the talent and story is something that everyone can get behind. This movie is what every single modern-day Hallmark movies wishes it could be. How did Amanda find the strength to get over such tragedy? Was all of this just an elaborate setup by Graham and Iris? Is Mr. Brightside the greatest song ever made? We dive into all this and so much more.

The holidays are in full swing and I'm sure you have been watching all your favorite Christmas movies. Well, if you tuned into last week's brunch, you heard us attempt to cast our very own Christmas/Hallmark movie. The casting and premise was so unbelievably perfect that we decided to actually write the script out in real-time for you to enjoy. Beware that you just got in on the ground floor of the next big smash-hit Christmas movie. There is a good chance that Hallmark will be buying this off of us for a 2025 release!

It’s officially Christmas season, so why not start it off with a bang! Gremlins was the 4th highest grossing film of the year in 1984 and spawned a whole franchise after it’s surprising success. Did this movie single-handedly help create the PG-13 rating? Is this more of a Christmas movie than Die Hard? Did one of these scene inspire Tarantino to write Inglourious Basterds? Where are the parents?

You can’t deny the power of a Hallmark Christmas movie. Stick to the formula, release it to the public and watch the cash roll in. What if they let us make one? Who would we cast in the movie? What would the premise be? It sounds easy but wait till you hear what we come up with.

On a brand new episode, we dissect 2001’s ‘Black Hawk Down’ with a modern eye. It was the first war movie to be released after 9/11. It worthy of it’s accolades and awards? Is this one of the most-stacked casts of actors that we have ever done? Why does Mike love helicopters so much? This is a heavy episode but we still have a good time. Enjoy!

This movie really needs no introduction and it's a wonder why we waited so long to do it. Is it a Thanksgiving movie? No. But are you going to be using a blade to cut your turkey soon? Ehh? Ehhhh?!?! Coincidence or not- this movie taught us to avoid "Blood Raves". That sunscreen and motorcycle helmets protect vampires from exploding and that Wesley Snipes is the ultimate bad-ass. Join us as we give a modern day review of 1998's Blade.

This is a re-airing from November 24, 2021. The definitive Thanksgiving movie, right?? The travel, the trouble, the good the bad, and laughably maddening scenarios that can only come from the mind of John Hughes. With two comedic giants at the forefront, does this buddy-travel movie hold up and speak through generational lapses? What’s Neal’s wife’s problem? What’s in Del’s trunk?? How many f**ks does it take to f**k yourself? All this and more while we break down Planes, Trains, and automobiles.

The guy who gets his leg broken in bloodsport is Tong Po in Kickboxer and also is one of Military police in lionheart who is after Van Damme. I recently saw you guys on Bert's Kreisher's podcast and have been binging the eps at work. Im already a big fan

love this review guys! I'd like to hear you guys talk about Water world!
Discovered this podcast a couple of days ago, and I've been binge listening through the episodes. I love that they discuss movies I watched growing up. It's like talking about movies with buddies. I recommend it.
REVIEW TIME!!!!! After seeing one clip on Tik Tok I immediately tracked down the podcast and have listened to everyone episode sometimes more than once. I LOVE this podcast!!! The dinamic the 3 of you have, welcomes us in, as if we are part of an all night movie, snack, gaming session. I'm proud to be a member of "The Dazed Club" keep up the great work!
super entertaining and easy listening. love going down memory lane with all the movies. got me re watching all of them now as well.
Love this podcast! I first discovered it off of TikTok of all places. Decided to give it a listen and ended up listening to every single one in just 3 days. I was delighted to hear what others guys around my age think about the movies and shows I grew up on. The added bonus was finding out that they are Iowa boys just like me. I can’t wait to hear what they will cover in the future!
Easy listening, great laughs. This is my go to podcast when I want to break up the monotony and travel down memory lane. The cast has great chemistry and you can tell they put in the work. Again, very funny and deserves the love. Happy listening!
