Sorry Mike, you are incorrect. When Brando heard the fans were creating a site he suggested they name it the 17th Shard. Nobody knew the context until it appeared in the books.

this is probably the most difficult episode I've listened to do far. the first 20 minutes are a master class in ADHD group think. the show is called the deep dive podcast. my interpretation of deep dive is obviously different. i was expecting the show to have their new reader Dave read each book in sections and try to theory craft and give an honest account of his experiences and journey of discovering the Cosmere and it's mechanics. what i received, going on 212 hours is listening is this: Tori is mostly silent because the three other people talk over her all the time. she would be a great touch stone for sanity if they would let her get a word in. Mike has slept been losing his sanity and focus for what the show was to what it has become. his stress response is to lean into the immaturity and become part of the problem. Dave is the new reader. however, he found out that bullet point jokes are funny and only focuses on those. he stopped analyzing the content and appears to only be int

bless everyone's patience with Craig. Craig, can you let people talk? the interruptions where you cut in and steamroll everyone is beyond annoying

12 minutes of listening to Craig prattle, interrupt and talk over everyone. skip to 22:30 to start the actual episode

Craig can you take a breath and let other people talk? it's so frustrating to listen to you talk over people.

i don't understand why the audio quality fell off the rails. Craig's microphone is hotter than the sun. bringing his volume down basically mutes everyone else. skipping this one unfortunately.

i couldn't finish this one. Craig's audio is so out of balance that if i make his volume tolerable, i can't hear anyone else.

Craig was doing great for several episodes. this episode he decided to adopt his condescending tone and interrupt everyone because he's incapable of making notes while someone else talks. his theory crafting is good, his podcast manners suck the worst

at the one hour mark, Craig becomes insufferable. he's got great theory crafting points. but his social interaction with Tori and Mike is just awful

i can tell when Craig likes certain sections of these books. mostly because he becomes insufferable to listen to. c'mon man, how do you pack so much arrogance into your tone? you did great for several episodes and now i can barely get through it. You have good theories You know about the Cosmere You also know that the whole premise of the show is to have Dave read these for the first time. Why why why do you insist on dangling things, especially when you're the actually the worst person to phrase something carefully. I don't understand how Mike doesn't just chew you out after and before each episode. Actually, he probably doesn't waste his time, because you pompously ignore all the hints, nudges and other social cues to fit in to the group properly.
