Self-authenticating canon is such horseshit. Protestants who believe in it are so stupid.

I hate to say it, but there is actually good reason to believe that the sound of freedom movie is actually a big grift. for example the fact that the story it covers is fabricated and paints an inaccurate picture of the issue of trafficking. the court documents are public, you can check them yourself. also OUR has gotten in trouble a lot for exaggerating and embellishing their claims

I absolutely agree. I prefer knowledge over a degree though, so I'm learning by listening to podcasts and other materials profs create and post for free. I'm not paying $10,000 a year to be called a biggot.

strange for a priest to call using wrong pronouns a sin...and then to suggest using wrong pronouns for Catholic leaders. So he sees this action as sinful...and yet also encourages people to do it. Pretty terrible thing for a priest to do. It's sophomoric and yet also sinful to encourage others to sin or even to try sinning.

so Trent Horn won't let Tim Gordon finish stating his side. I've always thought Trent had more respect than that. I will pray for him.

My husband was forced to take two weeks of vacation even though he really wasn't very ill with the "Vid". I was the most sick of the 6 in our family, including an infant, who all got it in the same week. But, 6 months later, we are all still here to talk about it. :)

interesting information and diabollcally brilliant. Especially that last bit about making it seem you were born gay instead of the complex environmental factors being the reason. wow! I pray Christian hearts will be prepared to work the fields for the countless wounded souls who need healing from the twisted lies

Trent, I started listening to this episode. But after hearing a couple of James Wihite's weak arguments, I got bored and couldn't hear anymore. I gave the episode my like because others may benefit from it, though.

Just one thing about tv programs for girls. I grew up watching many of those cartoons you mentioned, and as a girl, I never had problems saying something like, "this is for boys, not for me". Unfortunately, much of the stuff directed to girls is really bad and cheesie, and sexist. Probably, the things I can remember were more for girls, but even boys watched with us were My Little Pony and Care Bears in the 80s. But I grew up watching many action cartoons. By the way, I loved the Batman animated tv series from the 90s.

I agree with no TV-baby-sitting. I love taking kids to the park or to the outdoors. My greatest memories were playing outside. Kids nowadays need to go back to the outdoors and play like kids.

Tim is 100% correct. Trent uses tactics to try and discredit his arguments but fails to.

As a former Southern Baptist I still use the King James as my primary personal reading Bible. I am sorry, but in my opinion, the King James is just a masterpiece and pinnacle of literary genius. I do read from time to time the Douay Rheims but it seems clunky to me. the literal hard adherence of translation of the Latinisms into English can make the text difficult at time. In regular Catholic settings I use the RSVCE 2.O or John Kohlenberger III "Precise Parallel New Testament" (8 translations). I do not and will not read the the NABRE. Very difficult from being raised in high Elizabethan English to common modern English you find in a newspaper. Modern Catholicism has lost the sense of beauty all around. Hence the Church today. Especially in language. It's manifest in the modern translations and the Liturgy. Good podcast!

My siblings and I were exposed to dinosaurs long before Jurassic Park, watching cartoons about dinosaurs like Transformers' Dinobots, in the 80s and 90s. But the first big thing Jurassic Park got wrong in the 90s was the depiction of San Jose, Costa Rica. That was a great sign of ignorance.

It's funny that atheists say they're happy churches are closed because truth is that Masses are being transmitted live in many places and at many times during the week. Probably, my opinion is based on something totally different to what the US may be experiencing. I don't know. In my country, the Bishops Conference authorized valid Mass only if live transmitted. I understand they did the same in many other countries. My point is, churches look closed, but there are Masses all over the social networks. FB and YouTube have many channels and walls transmitting even rosaries and people are watching them for thousands and millions. For rebel members of Catholic families who didn't go to Mass, now they have it in their houses, for better or for worse. I heard an Australian program explaning they have experienced this "Mass Explosion". That they never thought Mass could ever being transmitted in any TV channel. But now, you can even watch it in your phone and in thousands on languages and fr
