A small reflection, what I learned, and a thank you.
Some thoughts on processing feelings and emotions healthily.
3 takes before I decided the episode was good enough. Also I pivoted between those 3 episodes dramatically. So that's a little meta decision making for ya.
I was pruning my plants a little today and giving them fertilizer and it got me thinking about why we do that and how that applies to other parts of our lives.
If you want to do great things, you have to accept it'll just be a few.
The second part of the last episode. The missing piece of kindness.
I prefer to be in the driver's seat of my life. Do you? I've written out the notes for this episodes like 5 times over the last 5 days, and I think.. I finally figured out how to say what I wanted to say.The Push/Pull article I was talking about: https://kellanem.com/notes/push-and-pull

I've spent my days recently thinking really really hard. Asking myself questions. So I thought I'd bring the one that most often comes to mind to the podcast more explicitly today.
Hugs are a kind of magic. Let's celebrate the power of hugs today.
I'll share what was nourishing for me today, in hopes that you go do something nourishing for yourself. :)

Sometimes I just sit and breathe as I observe and trace the pothos plant in my house with my eyes. So today's piece is inspired at least in part by the pothos I have. :)
Do you sometimes wake up with questions that are burrowed in your mind and refuse to get out? That happens to me sometimes. And today's question has literally hounded me all day, I've evaluated and thought about it every waking minute, and it probably shaped at least half the conversations I had today.
We all have some underlying beliefs about fate wired into us from childhood. And I found myself think and talking about that with some folks today.
I'm back after being sick for a while! And today we're talking about honesty and how I interpret honesty.
This is a longer episode. And a pretty personal one.
Something about power, influence, doing what needs to be done, morphed into a pondering on leadership today.
On experiments in real life.
I missed an episode. Now what?
