The hour kicks off with Stugotz's Weekend Observations coming off the first weekend of the NBA and NHL playoffs and heading into NFL Draft week. Then, Dan is curious who will get the rights to the NFL Draft after ESPN loses them this year, and Pat McAfee's new weekly show with Bill Belichick. The show discusses how McAfee has created a comfortable environment where big names want to do weekly shows with him, as well as why people distrust the media. Then, Sal Licata and Brandon Tierney of WFAN have beef with "LeBaturd and Ugotz" after Stu turned down the program director job. Dan got sent a list of 13 centers that are better than Bam, nine of which are non-debatable but the crew has plenty of debate about them. Most importantly, who sent him the list? Stan Van Gundy? Nick Wright? VALERIE?! Hmmmm. Plus, Stugotz is tired of Joel Embiid, Dan wants to give the Heat's fanbase more credit than it deserves and discusses the quality of studio shows on NBA coverage. Brian Scalabrine joins the show to defend his take that Erik Spoelstra ordered a code red--or maybe a code dark orange--on Jayson Tatum. He also answers the all-important question, shot for your life: Sam Hauser or Larry Bird. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Today's Cast: Dan, Stu, Izzy, Chris, Billy, Jess and interestingly NOT Jeremy. The Heat got thrashed by the Celtics and most of the crew is fully expecting a sweep. The Panthers dominated the Lightning and Dan cannot believe that Nikita Kucherov was nowhere to be found. It was all part of the most boring exciting weekend in history, which included Scottie Scheffler winning yet again. The crew also dives into plenty of topics from the NBA Playoffs, including whether people actually like watching the Celtics, Dame Time's arrival in Milwaukee, Anthony Edwards beefing with Kevin Durant and Kawhi and Joel Embiid continuing to struggle with availability. Today's cast: Mike, Chris, Billy, Jeremy, Jessica, Tony, and Roy. Is today the last day of Miami Heat talk for the season? Then, yesterday's show earned Jessica some love from the audience, Chris Cote has a package dilemma, and Billy wonders how to take a texting friendship into a real life friendship. Plus, the Jaguars GM made a noise during his press conference: Was it a fart? Was it a throat gargle? Was it an INNER fart? Tony and the crew investigate. Learn more about your ad choices. He talks to Billy Corben about it. Tomas Kennedy, spokesperson for the Florida Immigrant Coalition, joins the show to talk about a state law loosening restrictions for companies to provide heat stress protections to agricultural and construction workers. Then, Stugotz goes after Bob Kraft and Valerie issues a statement on the cupcake debacle. Plus, Adnan Virk is here to discuss Brian Cox's wild statements, the Steve Martin doc, and deliver his Top 5 Mystery Movies without David Samson. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Today's cast: Dan, Stugotz, Chris, Jeremy, Jessica, Roy, and Tony. While we should probably start the show with the Heat loss to the 76ers in last night's play-in game, there is internal turmoil at Meadowlark Media that must be handled first: Valerie's cupcake was stolen, and it led to Dan's assistant yelling at Jessica. Dan asks questions, Jessica explains her role, Stugotz avoids blame, and Tony tries to solve the case...once it's already been solved. Then, we finally get to the Heat's loss to the Sixers while ignoring everything Jeremy has to say about the result. How much blame or credit does Tyler Herro deserve for the result? Can Nicolas Batum do this every once in a while? Were injuries to both stars really the biggest factor? Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
On this episode of the MMA Hangout - Tony is joined by The MMA Hour's Conner Burks (who was boots on the ground in Vegas) to recap the BIGGEST night in MMA history at UFC 300 including Alex Pereira's big-time knockout in the main event, Zhang Weilei's decisive victory and of course, Max Holloway delivering arguably the greatest moment in UFC history. Our beloved Fancy Lad, Chris Wittyngham, was on the call for an epic Champions League tie between PSG and Barcelona and we celebrate his success in an...interesting way. Lucy was in New York for the WNBA Draft and we watch her latest Off Rohden video from it. Jessica made a very Franco/Frank O'Harris mistake with Sex and the City, Bluey made Mike Ryan cry and Don Van Natta and Seth Wickersham have a new deep dive on the Patriots. Then, the crew is split on the Heat-Sixers game in Against The Spread and Coyotes are leaving Arizona at an alarming rate. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices
Mike Schur is back! He feels more confident about the Celtics this year but is still terrified of those pesky Miami Heat. He also has a report for us on the Sacramento Kings win over the Warriors last night. The NHL Playoffs are nearly set and are about to get underway and the Panthers are facing the Tampa Bay Lightning in the first round. How scared is the group of the Lightning in World Rawr III? Our Panthers chat says not so much. Plus, Jemele Hill joins the show and discusses whether or not Scottie Scheffler would have actually left the Masters if his wife went into labor and the arrival of the WNBA. for the love of God! do we need to start a gofundme for Caitlin. she is gonna make $76.000 for 4 months. i won't make that much this year and I live in California. so I'm sure she'll be fine. she's getting market value for her profession. since we're here when are we gonna stop advertising athletes salaries. I'm not jealous or hating if that's what the market dictates good for them. but $800m, $400m, $200m contracts. $50m a year. that's monopoly money for playing a game. we don't need to know.

did you guys understand the end of 2 hockey games last night. Detroit ties score with Mtl with 3 seconds left. Philly didn't know that Detroit tied it. so BC they had to win in regulation to pass Detroit they pulled their goalie. Washington scored into empty net that eliminated Pittsburgh. if Philly had won in ot or so Pittsburgh would have been in.
