The DareLinzell Show

Welcome! Our show empowers you the listener through encouraging the use of Values Over Adversity... The American Dream is deteriorating; American Culture is on the brink of turmoil right before our very eyes. The traditional family has left the home, there is no longer dialogue around the table, parenting is no longer considered significant and children are raising children. Our schools have abandon the traditions of prayer and the pledge of allegiance, the welfare programs of the state have virtually forced educators to take on the role and duties of parenting. Our so-called politicians have taken the position that no intervention is the safe and fast track to re-election and that a dysfunctional government in "deadlock and in- action" is representative of the people. What has gone so terribly wrong? Join me on the radio show that looks to identify the problem and provide solutions on Current events; Politics, Social/Relationship issues, Economics, Religion/Spirituality, Education and more...The DareLinzell Show..Join the show and the host that's determined to make a difference - Every Monday 9:00 a.m.

Values Over Adversity: Victims for the Accussed...

In todays show lets talk about an epidemic Mental Health Crisis prevalent throughout the Minority Community "Victims for the Accussed: A Time Healing." The reality is that in any crime, specifically and especially in violent crimes there are a number of victims; the primary victim - person or persons directly impacted by the crime, the secondary victims - loved ones or close friends of the primary victim and often unrecognized or acknowledged across the aisle or courtroom are the tertiarary victims - the person or persons who are loved ones of the accussed. Imagine for a moment; the Mothers, Fathers, Husbands, Wives, Sons, Daughters, Nieces, Nephews, etc., etc., impacted by the acts or actions of a relative who has committed crime.  First, do you consider them victims?  Secondly, what if any trauma do they suffer and are there available resources or professionals addressing their ailments? Join me as I bring to light a very personal and often closet issue many of us avoid discussing.  What are the coping strategies and solutions for children who are suffering at the loss of a relative to the Criminal Justice System.  Are they victims?  JOIN ME!!

Occupy Wall Street: Christmas Wish List...

Well, one thing for sure Santa's (We The Adult People = Parents = Middle Class) the world over know each year they must deliver joy and hope to their constituents (children & loved ones) or risk protest.... Much the like, as mentioned in our last show politicians must know we have the right to protest when they have failed to deliver the goods and resources which enable us to be good on our promise to our children and loved ones. Now we hear, their wanting us to make a list, to identify the problems etc., in Washington, in our economy and within our State and Local governments....WOW! Aren't they the elected officials who should be resolving our problems, addressing our concerns?  Well, to be fair we've made a wish list not totally for the politicians, the wall street bankers, but as well for YOU, our voting public to consider adding as a petition when you next vote: 1. No more politics or business as usual... 2. Implement stricter term limits on politicians. 3. Implement stricter regulations on Big Banks, Businesses and specifically housing regulations... Join our show to hear more details about our wish list....

Wall Street: "We The People"

Perhaps, all if not the majority of political on lookers commenting on the recent Wall Street Protestors have misinterpreted, misunderstood or misrepresented the presence of these protestors.  Indeed, if not for their misguided replies and empty rhetoric would it not be so easy to identify these gutless political opponents as having committed the cardinal sin of all freedoms and "sold their very souls" to corporate greed and democratic corruption. But indeed one thing and one thing only is beholding to the protestors in their role which "we, each of us" in the face of the economic crisis brought about through corporate greed and political disgrace must reaffirm and be reminded that "We The People" are the core of this democracy.   We are FREE to demonstrate our dis-satisfaction with our governance, its policies and the selfish disregard of elected officials as authorized by that most powerful doctrine we call the U.S. Constitution. No matter whether we be of Tea Party or Occupy Wall Street affiliation, "We The People" have the right to call out obstructionist policies, practices, politicians or corporate agendas which seek the demise of our republic and the freedoms of its people. From decades of shipping American jobs and capital off shores and overseas, to the unmanned oversight and lacking promotion of American technological advancements these political and corporate obstructionist have failed our democracy.

Raising U.S. Debt Ceiling: What's Really Going On?

As Americans and specifically as a voting public we must hold our elected officials accountable for there actions or in this instance "inaction." My fellow American Congress has failed us. Not more then 3 years ago Congress voted to raise the debt ceiling 8 times under then President George W. Bush with little if any question...."8 times!"  Now we see that the Republican party has made a political football out of the Debt Ceiling" at a time when sportsmanship should be all so important. Join us as we discuss the heart of the matter before the American People and you decide whether it is right or wrong...."no PARTY intended!"   Lets talk about the Debt Ceiling. http://money.cnn.com/2011/01/03/news/economy/debt_ceiling_faqs/index.htm
