Currently conducting research at one of Canada's top engineering universities, they are pushing the boundaries of cancer detection with their work. They've graduated from the esteemed University of Waterloo, holding a 4.0 cumulative GPA in Management Engineering and being a recipient of the First in Class Engineering Scholarship from their first year, truly setting them apart in their cohort. Their passion for solving complex problems isn't just limited to academia. They've spent time at one of the world's leading tech giants, Microsoft, where they put their knowledge to practical use. So without further ado, please welcome our esteemed guest to the show, Amy Tai.

They've swiftly navigated through a series of successful internships at notable tech companies, honing their skills in machine learning and back-end engineering, as well as attending our very own University of Waterloo. At WOMBO.ai, they've played a crucial role as a founding engineer, contributing to the app's ranking in the top 5 on the App Store in over 20 countries, boasting over 50 million downloads. Their experience extends to Jane Street, Groq, and Splunk, where they've tackled challenges in areas like ultra-low latency trading systems, ML compilers, and back-end analytics respectively.
