On July 3, 2015, psychiatrist and local celebrity Dr. John Parker was found dead in his Mashpee, MA office. His death was ruled an apparent suicide, but his son-in-law, Dan Zappulla, doesn't buy it.

Holy christ how many times am I going to hear exactly the same thing?
this needs to be marketed as a sleep podcast. this is so sloooooow I can't stay awake.
It gets an ok from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
it took me about 3 restarts before I really appreciated and liked this podcast. Now I can't wait for more.
So I just started this, and the premise is interesting. Voice acting is a little hit or miss - some of it sounds pretty scripted, but some is excellent (the narrator's mother stands out as very naturalistic). But at this early stage I can't tell if the incredible male privilege of the narrator and his insensitivity to his wife is intentional, or if the writer really thinks it's totally reasonable to do a podcast about his FiL's life and death, including airing all of his personal failings very, very publically. If it's intentional, then the writing is fantastic. Overall, I'm looming forward to more.
I'm a fan. It started a bit slow, but the production improved immensely, over the course of this first season. I can't wait for S2!
