This is probably the most important phase of building a dropshipping business.  If you don't get this right, you are setting yourself up for failure.
Over the past week I started learning about dropshipping... from the basics of what it truly is to marketing. I'm using 2-3 resources to learn about dropshipping and will apply what I learn to launch a new dropshipping business with no money invested.
It's Been a Year

It's Been a Year

2021-03-0322:45

I'm recording again and there has been a lot that's happened in the past year.  Let's catch up.
I took another speed reading test and using the SQ3R, pre-reading, and visual marker strategy; I was able to read a little faster than last time.  I scored 173 wpm, still slow for many people; but it's an improvement for me and I was able to recall way more information with much more detail. I'm excited to see where this course leads me as I received some new books from Wake Up Warrior.
I go over some of the memory enhancement lessons in the speed reading course where they teach things like chunking, visual markers, memory palaces, and the major system for remembering numbers. After this, I can go on to the speed reading portion of the course with pre-reading and preparation.

I started the speed reading course this weekend and took the reading exercise to record my baseline and start working on some memory exercises. I reveal what my reading speed is and what the first memory exercise is.
Master Your Craft

Master Your Craft

2020-02-0125:48

Today was a treat as my career and experience helped to validate my worth and that was translated in an opportunity that was presented. 10,000 hours is what it takes to master a skill.  That's 40 hours per week, 50 weeks a year, for 5 years.  That's how long you should be investing into your skillset to become the person that people want to work with.
Today I met with my friend, Adam Ulery; the host of the Tech Guys Who Invest podcast.  We spoke about some real estate deals and also spoke about podcasting and some ideas I had going forward with podcasting. I also recap the speed reading challenge and an issue I ran into and quickly resolved for less than the original solution.
I was presented a new opportunity to stretch my development skills with a team that is disrupting the healthcare industry and I'm pretty excited about what they're doing. The other thing I talk about is a challenge for February where we will end the month capable of reading more books than the average person.
Today I talk a bit about Tim Grover's book, Relentless.  Only a bit because I'm taking this book in bit by bit... it is an amazing in your face book. I also talk about Gary John Bishop's book, Unfuck Yourself; and how it ties into Relentless.
I just watched Kevin Hart's Netflix documentary, Don't F*#k This Up; and it was an amazing look into his life and all of the things he does in his business, Hartbeat Productions, his stand-up and tours, and other projects.  This guy, whether you like him or not, is a seriously hard working individual that we can learn from.
Virtual Summits

Virtual Summits

I just learned about virtual summits; what they are, how to put one together, and various ways to make money from it and build a community and possibly a larger audience for your podcast.
Today I read an article over on Lifehacker about what happens to your domain when you die.  It goes over the expiration process, how to remedy that problem temporarily and then a solution to the problem that we need to consider and implement. It was a great article being that I own about 20 domain names myself.   Check out the article here: https://lifehacker.com/what-happens-to-your-domain-when-you-die-1840265975
Today I talk about some of the things I've been doing for the podcast: Audiograms Creating Backups & The Importance of Them Publishing to YouTube and Patreon   Check out https://www.patreon.com/thedebrief

Tonight I went to Fight Team for my workout and injured my knee and eventually the instep of my foot... it hurt like hell and thought that I should call it, but asked myself; can I push past this and keep fighting. It comes down to a mental game that we have to play when we are approaching our limits or are already at our perceived limits.  We don't know that we can do more because we haven't pushed ourselves.
Today I discuss what I'm doing for fasting, or Intermittent Fasting (IF); what strategy I use and what I learned yesterday about something called the Snake Diet. There are a variety of IF strategies; from circadian rhythm and 16:8, to 20:4 and beyond.  I'm using the 16:8, discuss what that means, and how it has affected me in the past.  I then discuss something I just found out about yesterday, called the Snake Diet; an IF strategy that may be intriguing to a lot of people.   Check out the Snake Diet on the Snake Diet YouTube Channel
How are you rewarding yourself for the solid work you are putting into your health, relationships, and business?  This is what I talk about today. For a week, month, or quarter of work; if we invest 100% quality work into any of the categories above, we can reward ourselves with something that is worth the effort.  Working out consistently for 12 weeks probably gets a cheat day consisting of junk food, ice-cream, whatever. Taking a page out of Mark Bell's Youtube video: what can you do to be proud of yourself?
