The Direct Primary Care Podcast Show

The Direct Primary Care (DPC) Podcast is a podcast about a a new and innovative model of healthcare. Once thought to be a practice only for the wealthy, DPC is now spreading across the country and becoming available to all as a more feasible, more sustainable and happier model of care delivery. By charging a low cost monthly fee to patients, doctors are able to take back the freedom that was taken from them decades ago, and patients are able to reap the rewards of a doctor they know and who has time for them. This podcast hopes to empower those who are on the fringe of the DPC movement, or who don't quite know what its about, to embrace DPC as the answer to our nation's failing healthcare system. While the show is geared towards providers, those in insurance industry, hospital administration, public policy and even patients will find the show's content interesting and informative. In each episode, Dr Roussel, a direct primary care physician, radio show host and author, interviews a new guest about a different topic related to direct primary care, from insurance plans that pair with membership to legal issues when dealing with patient contracts and Medicare. So tune in to learn more about the model of healthcare that is rebuilding our system from the ground up, one doctor, one patient at a time.
