Dr. Mark Siegel is a Professor of Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine here at Yale and serves as the Program Director for the Yale Traditional Internal Medicine Residency Program. Dr. Pischel is a second-year resident in the Yale Internal Medicine Residency Program.

Then, our host Dr. Ethan Bernstein is joined by Dr. Julie Rosenbaum in discussing the pitfalls and ethics of physician advocacy. Dr. Julie Rothstein-Rosenbaum is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the Yale School of Medicine, Co-director of the Community Engagement Program for the Yale Primary Care Residency, and a well known Physician Advocate. Dr. Faruqi is a third year resident in the Yale Internal Medicine Residency Program.

In this throwback episode, Pranay interviews Dr. George Goshua. Dr. Goshua reads an essay about the transition from medical school to intern year. They discuss what it means to become a physician. Dr. George Goshua is currently a third year resident in Yale's Internal Medicine Residency Program, and a rising Chief Resident for the 2018-2019 academic year.      

Our founder and first host, Dr. Pranay Sinha, explains the inspiration behind the podcast, as well as its odd name.   Dr. Sinha is a graduate of the Yale Internal Medicine Residency Program and a former Editor-in-Chief of the Beeson Beat. He is currently working as a hospitalist for Yale-New Haven Hospital until July, when he will move to Boston to pursue a fellowship in Infectious Disease.
