Colossians 1:3-6, 9-12 3 We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4 because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all God’s people— 5 the faith and love that spring from the hope stored up for you in heaven and about which you have already heard in the true message of the gospel 6 that has come to you. In the same way, the gospel is bearing fruit and growing throughout the whole world—just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and truly understood God’s grace. 9 For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you. Worship: In Spirit And Truth John 4:20-24 "Our ancestors worshiped on this mountain, but you Jews claim that the place where we must worship is in Jerusalem.  Jesus declared, “Believe me, woman, a time is coming when you will worship the Father neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem. You Samaritans worship what you do not know; we worship what we do know, for salvation is from the Jews. Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks. God is spirit, and his worshipers must worship in spirit and in truth.” Worship is not just about external actions or rituals, but it's about the heart and spirit behind those actions. True worship is a genuine response to God's grace and love, and it involves a deepening relationship with Him. Worship is not just singing songs or playing instruments, but it is a response to who God is and what He has done for us. Through worship, we acknowledge God's greatness, confess our dependence on him, and surrender our lives to His will. Our surrender doesn't make Jesus Lord. He is Lord all on His own. Renew: Reveal John 5:15 I am the vine and you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. Is that God communicating with us or are we simply hearing what we want to hear?
