the scary thing about all this is that they actually did all this to Palestinian women.

I started boycotting since October. it was hard to find the products. but for the past few months my weekly shops have all been local, cheaper items. I did it for the Palestinians but the benefits have been great for our weekly budget. Also, I've noticed our supermarkets putting the local products on harder to reach shelves, eg. Pepsi on the middle shelf, but local made cola on the far bottom shelf. but we've started a Facebook community to encourage each other on products and it's been good.

Thanks to Professor Marandi. It was expressive, clear, human and stimulating. But I want to warn against drawing a justified picture of the Islamic Republic! We must not forget that it's a dictatorial theocracy. At least for the same reason that in Iran we can't watch EI livestreams on YouTube due to filtering, and we've to use VPN to listen to its podcast. Undoubtedly, you yourself have used VPN to talk with EI. And this was a point that you could mention to when you were talking about Iran

Question: are the stories about the morality police legit? I've always wondered about that.

I am REALLY surprised how such opinions still exist in "civilized countries". With the presence of all the press and publications, elites, social activists, long-standing social institutions, intellectuals in the specialized or general field, and all other things. How come we haven't made ANY progress since 1930?
