In this week's Bullet Points, I discuss the Gregg Wallace scandal, a huge topic in the UK this week. I share my thoughts having worked with Gregg previously. As London is 'crowned' the Phone Theft Capital of Europe, I share how a trip to London changed my perspective and how it has influenced my behaviour in the city. Finally, I share a useful hack that might help you focus more. Johann Hari and I discussed attention span on the show a while ago and you can listen to that here: Subscribe to my Substack: https://emmaguns.substack.com/Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/emmaguns/Email me at: office@emmaguns.comListen to the #EmmaGunsShow for free on:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/6goNFPSxewG2CiP4nBcNNY?si=1448e83ed0c84479Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-emma-guns-show/id1102982843?i=1000599251800or search 'Emma Guns' wherever you listen to your podcasts.#greggwallace #masterchefscandal #masterchef #london #phonetheft #phonethieves #crimewave #attentionspan #johannhari #readinghack Hosted on Acast. The power of the re-frame is something to explore in this episode of the podcast. I've set the bar quite high for myself in the past, especially professionally, and this year has been about relaxing that tight grip on 'success'. However, it has been a puzzler simply because a lot of the positive steps I've taken to relieve some of that pressure are the things I'd do when I was struggling with depression. In one instance, it allowed me to withdraw from the world, in another it's allowed me to show up as a better version of myself. So what's the difference? Also in this episode, I ponder whether being too self-aware is a fast-track to anxiety and I lose the pot over the current 'it' body cream.Email me at office@emmaguns.comSubscribe and comment on my Substack: https://emmaguns.substack.com/Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/emmaguns/Listen to the #EmmaGunsShow for free on:Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/episode/6goNFPSxewG2CiP4nBcNNY?si=1448e83ed0c84479Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/the-emma-guns-show/id1102982843?i=1000599251800or search 'Emma Guns' wherever you listen to your podcasts. On this episode, let's talk about how the super short days are making it harder to regulate mood (read: be in a good one!), how the Wicked film press tour is quite the sight to behold and how Black Friday has gone from being a day to a month-long extravaganza. Although, are you actually saving anything by getting involved.Read my Substack Email me at office@emmaguns.comFollow me on Instagram. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.

In this episode I share my 'encounter' with a ch-ugger (charity mugger) on Oxford Street, what it was like inside the Space NK Christmas party, why we shouldn't always get excited about the razzle-dazzle of what's new and exciting and why I might film a What I Eat In A Day Video even though I always said I wouldn't.Subscribe to my Substack Hosted on Acast. Ryan Bailey is the reigning King of reality TV podcasts. His show, So Bad It's Good with Ryan Bailey is the go-to for anyone watching Bravo or keen to stay up-to-date on the scandal, intrigue and drama of celebrity. He very graciously invited me to be a guest on his podcast and I'm delighted that we committed another conversation to mine. Covering everything from the real-time implosion of Hollywood, thanks to the P Diddy arrest, why we get so sucked into living vicariously through reality TV shows and their stars, how reality TV is an excellent way to 'learn' how to navigate social situations and a whole lot more...Subscribe to my Substack Hosted on Acast.
