TENE revisits the Orthodox Christian "punk zine" Death to the World, by reviewing the 2025 book Punk to Monks: The Story of Death to the World 'Zine. Boris compares the official narrative to the far more grim reality of abuse, cover-ups, fake churches and a surprising connection to a 1960s New Age cult. Rey provides the basic outline of the Eurasianist movement founded in 1922 by Pyotr Savitsky, Georges Florovsky, Nikolai Trubetzkoy and Pyotr Suvchinsky. The movement had a specific view of the October revolution which differentiated them from other White Russian emigres, which got them entangled with Soviet intelligence and ultimately led to their downfall. Music: Sergei Prokofiev -Piano Sonata No. 5 in C major, Op. 38 (a work dedicated to one of Eurasianism's founders, Pyotr Suvchinsky, written in 1923) Subscribe to patreon.org/tenepod @tenepod.bsky.social  x.com/tenepod

Rey talks about the second part of David Austin Walsh's book Taking America Back, covering the 1953 - 1991 period, during which Buckley supposedly "purged" the conservative movement from extremists, and his collaborators Revilo Oliver and George Lincoln Rockwell founded the white power movement. In a desperate attempt at a last stand to halt the Rwandan backed army of Laurent Desire Kabila, Mobutu hires mercenaries composed of members of the infamous 10th Sabotage Detachment of the Bosnian Serb army, responsible for some of the worst atrocities in the Bosnian war, under the command of French intelligence asset "Yugo Dominic". TENE and friend watch the star studded 1978 action film The Wild Geese. Richard Burton and Roger Moore (James Bond) play a romanticized versions of Mad Mike and his racist mercenaries, except now they're good guys who just want to teach us how the West should forgive Africans for being corrupt. Rey walks us through the first part of David Austin Walsh's book Taking America Back, which is centered around Hart's career in the 1933-1953 period. Merwin was a "liminal figure of the US right-wing", able to meet the president in the White House, but also to work together with known fascist "crackpots" (Coughlin, G. L. K. Smith, Wesley Swift...). Subscribe to patreon.org/tenepod @tenepod.bsky.social  + x.com/tenepod

Adam Parfrey, founder of Feral House publishing, was an incredibly influential man of letters, publisher, and journalist. He also had an extremely racist, social-darwinist secret agenda. He was a real jerk. Subscribe to patreon.org/tenepod @tenepod.bsky.social  + twitter.com/tenepod
