Today, we continue through discussing more from the 27th Psalm. We dive in some more of the awesome truths and how we can apply them to our lives today. Believing is a big deal to God, and it is a requirement in this walk of faith. David shows us the importance of believing and how it shapes our lives.
Join me today as we begin a new series on Psalm 27 and learning to apply David’s words to our lives today. We can take this Psalm and apply it to us as New Covenant believers and put faith that the God that was there for King David, will also be there for us. The Lord is the strength of our lives, whom shall we be afraid?
Today we wrap up ‘Get Your Hopes Up’, our intro topic with the new year. We discuss the idea of biblical hope: a desire that is accompanied with confident expectation. God told us that he would give us the desires of our heart as we seek him (Psalm 37). The more of the Word of God we have to back our hope, the more faith that we have that will rise out of us.
As we welcome a new year, let’s get our hopes up. The new year tends to be a fresh hope, a fresh expectation of good and I want to take an episode or two to discuss hope, biblical hope. Not the kind of hope that is backed by unbelief, but backed with a confident expectation. Hope is a good thing when we use it the way the Bible says, and hope does not disappoint.
As the children of God, we are not called to follow after the deceit of the world or to walk according to their traditions, but rather, to the traditions of Christ. This includes healing, and as an heir to the throne, our healings have been paid in full by Jesus Christ. Thank you Jesus for taking our place!
Happy Thanksgiving! This is just a quick bonus episode to encourage all of us to be thankful, not only in this season, but in all seasons. The Apostle Paul was one of the greatest examples (outside of Jesus) of being spiritually minded and seeing past the trials of this life, and keeping his mind stayed on those things mentioned in Philippians chapter 4. This is why Paul could say things like, “Rejoice in the Lord always” despite being chained in prison. Let’s follow his example and be thankful through the mountain top and valley moments of life.
Continuing with our discussion of healing, we break down a portion of Isaiah’s prophetic vision of the Messiah enduring the worst beating of history for our health and wholeness. Healing is a good thing and Jesus was the express image of the Father, so there is no question of what is God’s will, His will is healing!

Join us today as we continue in “What Is Truth”. We discuss more today on salvation and the importance of sharing with others the incorruptible seed of the word of God, which is truth. Join us again as we go through more of the idea that Jesus talked so much about, “That the kingdom of Heaven is as if a man should sow a seed.” This episode looks into more on the idea of how we protect our hearts from seeds that do not produce products that we don’t want in our life.
