This is the first episode of an anticipated 10 Episode series over the next year, that we're really excited for! On today's show, meet Enneagram One Darnell Young. She has always been interested in the behavior of others and the motivation behind people's behavior. In being introduced to the Enneagram, Darnell felt the tool put a name, or number, to how she viewed people. She loves to share information with others to bring them to awareness of themselves and others around them. In the next couple of episodes listeners will also meet Matt and Alex from the 2024 Enneagram Cohort. This is part one of two of Suzanne's conversation with Enneagram 8, Tony Jones. Tony jokingly second guesses his enneagram number in the beginning of today's show, but as each minute passes, you'll be able to laugh harder at the idea of him not being an 8! People sometimes have a difficult time hearing the truth from 8s, but Tony does a great job of laying it all out there in this episode on behalf of his fellow 8s. Tony Jones is the author of Did God Kill Jesus? Searching for Love in History’s Most Famous Execution, theologian, and speaker. He is a leading figure in the emerging church movement and in postmodern Christianity.

Such an intriguing conversation this week! Ben and Becky are two Aggressive Stance numbers happily married. There are often a lot of questions about the differences between 3s and 8s, and this episode addresses many! They are both such passionate people, but what I love the most about them is there passion for justice and all the good that they put in the world as a couple. I loved talking with them and hope you enjoy it too!

Suzanne's guest this week is Enneagram 4, David Gaffney! If you think that a Texas high school football coach couldn't excel as a 4 with more 4s on his staff, then you're wrong! The kids at John Paul II High School are really blessed to have him there.  A real theme in this week's conversation is the enneagram and orientation to time, and David does a great job of speaking to the strengths and struggles of his number.
