Happy New Year!! As a  new year approaches - we look back on all the ups and downs that was brought to us in 2021. Were not a New Year resolution type of gals…. But certainly did a lot of reflecting in this episode.
Toxic Positivity!?? Ever heard of it? Ever run into those people who are so “positive” and having “positive vibes only” attitudes that it feels condescending and fake? Yup!!! Listen to this episode while we dissect this new term “toxic positivity” and how this actually does more harm than good in all relationships

You thought it would be forever.  Then life throws you the Plot twist - the relationship you thought you had is suddenly over and here you are - single, and starting over, oh and you might have some kids in the mix. As we both have experienced this… we discuss all the things that scared us, what reality was and how to push through the suck of starting over - single. 
Parenting has certainly changed over the last 30-40 years…. But have parents now become too overbearing?? Are parents now so hung up on being the perfect parent that they’re literally suffocating their kids - and not allowing kids to be kids?!? Are Parents sheltering kids from failure or making mistakes - creating lack of accountability- and other bad behaviours ?? We try to dive into this world of helicopter parenting - as we discuss how this affects how kids behave today in both the school and social settings… and try to understand this phenomenon of parenting 
In this episode- we talk to Vicky about her courageous journey with her Acoustic Neuroma brain tumour diagnosis. Her story is not only informative but inspiring as she has turned this journey into living her life to the fullest.
