She has worked for Paramount Pictures, Lionsgate, and a variety of other studios and film institutes.  She has done publicity for blockbusters to documentaries, with some of her largest credits including The Hunger Games, Harry Potter, Dreamgirls, Ali, Lord Of the Rings, and much more.  We spoke about her career, what really happens at film festivals, and how diversity behind the scenes benefits the quality of films. Hi everyone :) For this episode, I spoke to Jacqui Barrett — co-founder of the creative agency Salient Future, and the EDI start-up Wider Thinking. Based in London, Jacqui spent 15 years of her career at the BBC working in commissioning, scheduling, and financial management for the company's television channels. In our conversation, we spoke about Jacqui's entrepreneurial work, her time at the BBC, and about a career break she took to care for her two young children and mother with early-onset Alzheimer's.
