Isaiah 40:4-7In this passage we see prophetic aspects of Christ's second coming. Phrases in verse four and five are parallel to New Testament passages about the Lord's return. Isaiah 37:21-32 King Hezekiah's powerful, humble, and God-glorifying prayer about the Assyrian-army crisis brings about an extraordinary answer from the Lord.
