We welcome onto today's show Bella Gonzales, an accomplished director of photography whose remarkable work spans across several prestigious series. Bella is known for her exceptional contributions to episodic series such as FX's Fargo, Apple TV+'s The Big Door Prize, and Hulu's PEN15. Her unique vision and technical prowess have made her a standout talent in the industry, and her recent projects are a testament to her skill and creativity. On the show, Giles Alderson and Dom Lenoir chat with Bella about: What lenses she uses, camera angles and working with different directors. She talks about what light means to story and why should pick your battles in prep and on set. We also dive into blocking, floor plans and not coming from a world of 'no'.
