#LadyGaga is offering a $500,000 U.S. reward for the return of two of her beloved dogs after they were stolen during an armed robbery Wednesday night. The pop star’s dog walker, 30-year-old Ryan Fischer, took her French Bulldogs – Gustavo, Koji and Miss Asia – out near his West Hollywood home just before 10 p.m. local time. He was approached by two black males who demanded he turn over the dogs. Fisher was shot four times in the chest and the thieves fled the scene in a white car with Gustavo and Koji. (0:14) Miss Asia was recovered by police and turned over to one of Gaga’s security guards. Fischer was rushed to hospital and is expected to recover. #TaylorSwift is counter suing Evermore Park which is the park that sued her just a few weeks ago over the name of her latest album.  Evermore Park in Utah filed a lawsuit since they say they have the trademark for the name and Taylor has not only used the name for her album but also used it on clothing and other merchandise.  Taylor’s company TAS Rights Management is now suing the park for performing Taylor Swift songs at the park with out a license. They were apparently warned several times by the performing rights organization BMI and chose to ignore the rules. (1:01) Britney Spears has been a hot topic the last few weeks since the release of the documentary #FramingBritneySpears came out in the states and finally we are able to view the documentary since it is being added to Crave in Canada tomorrow. Grammy-winning duo Daft Punk announced Monday they are calling it quits after nearly three decades. The news came in the form of “Epilogue,” a nearly eight-minute video that features a version of their 2013 track “Touch.” A publicist confirmed the end of Daft Punk to media outlets but did not provide details. Probably the person we would least expect to get a diss in a rap song is Jojo Siwa, yet it happened - by DaBaby. He dropped a freestyle video on his YouTube channel which included a lyric of him insulting 17 year old Jojo Siwa. This has caused a wave of people to head to Twitter to find out where that came from and why. Some people claim he was simply looking for a word that rhymed and it worked and others are saying it was more strategic, to cause controversy in order to get more views. James Charles, who is a friend of Jojo tweeted: “can someone please explain why da baby is dissing Jojo Siwa when she’s 12 years younger, 10 times richer, and 2 inches taller than him” Dababy ended going to twitter  to explain the lyric to Jojo directly where he said “my 3 year old princess is your number 1 fan. I brought her every product you have out. She thinks she’s you. Don’t let em trick you into thinking id ever have a problem with you. My word play just went over their heads.”  Hilary Duff is being sued by a photographer after she called him out in a video she posted online. Last year Hilary posted a video on her Instagram of her confronting the man who was taking photos of her and her kids playing in a park. In the video you can hear Hilary saying to him, “I’m not asking for your ID. I’m asking you to stop taking pictures of our 7-year-old children if you don’t know anyone that’s here. I’m asking you human to human, as a mother, if you don’t know anyone here, can you please stop taking pictures of our children playing football this morning.” The man is claiming that Hilary insinuated that he was a child predator or a stalker when he claims he is simply a photographer who was trying to take photos. Hilary has confronted paparazzi in the past when being followed by vehicles and on the street when trying to run errands.  Wendy Williams played the clip on her show and is getting sued from the same man as well.  Beyonce is helping a lot of people in her home state of Texas after they went through a historic winter storm. She announced on her Instagram Story that she teamed up with Adidas and the Houston based charity called Bread for Life along with her charity BeyGood to help anyone impacted by the storm could apply for a $1000 grand relief. They are currently working on going through everyone who applied and working on getting the money out to those who need it. They are also working on helping distribute food and water. Because of the storm there are currently 14 million people in Texas without access to clean water.  We are getting a new album from Ed Sheeran this year! He is known for taking big breaks in between the released of albums to work on new music and spend time with his wife and now new daughter. Ed celebrated his 30th birthday and made a post on his instagram saying “I’ll be back online with the 4th instalment in the series later this year.” He has already released his song “Afterglow” as a one off single to hold us over until we get this new project.  Niall Horan revealed in an interview with Zane Lowe last year and said that Ed had been challenging himself at the time to write a song a day in order to write the best songs he could come up with. Shawn Mendes posted a photo on Instagram that is having a lot of people wonder, why? The photo is of him and his girlfriend Camila Cabello and he is kissing her foot. He captioned it saying “I kiss your foot cuz I love you”. We are not sure what Shawn expected the reaction to be to this photo but it definitely got a reaction! Meghan Trainer and her husband Daryl Sabara have welcomed their first child! The two of them have a baby boy that they named Riley. Really missed the opportunity to name their son Junie after Daryl’s Spy Kids character. Meghan posted a photo on her Instagram saying “This sweet baby boy’s due date was today on Valentine’s Day We got to meet him Monday, Feb 8th! We are SO IN LOVE. Welcome to the world Riley!” With the release of the Britney Spears documentary in the US, a lot of people have been calling for the cancellation of Justin Timberlake.  There were comments he made about Britney Spears in interviews that were viewed as inappropriate Justin Timberlake has since released an apology statement. In the statement he said,  “The industry is flawed. It sets men, especially white men, up for success. It’s designed this way. As a man in a privileged position I have to be vocal about this. Because of my ignorance, I didn’t recognize it for all that it was while it was happening in my own life but I do not want to even benefit from others being pulled down again.”  Ariana Grande blessed us with a remix of her song 34 + 35 with two huge stars Doja Cat and Megan The Stallion. They released a music video for the song on Friday that showed them hanging out by indoor pool and ordering room service. Actress Kerri Washington seemed to have a bit of FOMO about the entire thing. Taylor Swift went on Good Morning America this morning to share the exciting news that tonight at midnight she is going to re-release her new version of her song Love Story!  She also revealed that she has finished re-recording her entire Fearless album and that is going to be coming out with 26 tracks, including six songs that didn’t make it on the original album. She shared new album art work that looks very similar to the original. And it wouldn’t be Taylor Swift if she didn’t leave a cryptic hint for us somewhere. She posted a letter to fans on her Instagram and the whole letter is in lower case letters except for the letters that spell out April 9th, meaning that is going to be the release date of her new Fearless album.  Nothing like a Thursday morning code for us to crack. All the rights of Taylor’s music was sold without her consent to record executive Scooter Braun and he has been profiting off the success of her music since. A way for Taylor to get around this is to re-record her old songs and encourage her fans to support that instead which is what she is now doing Billie Eilish, is a singer, songwriter and now executive film producer? She is in talks of being a producer on the movie called Fever all about the live of the singer Peggy Lee who had a long career as a singer that lasted over four decades. The role of Peggy is being played by Michelle Williams. Billie would take on the role along side her mom Maggy Baird. Billie has produced and even directed several of her own music videos including her last one “Therefore I am” but this would be the first time she worked on a feature film.  Everyone has been talking about Britney Spears this week since the New York Times documentary “Framing Britney Spears” came out in the states. It covered Britney’s life and career and focused on the conservatorship that Britney’s dad Jamie has on Britney as well as the #FreeBritney movement that started because of this situation. Everyone has been giving their two cents on the situation but we have finally heard from Britney herself. She made a post on her Instagram sharing a video of a performance of the song Toxic that she did three years ago. With the caption she wrote,  “I’ll always love being on stage .... but I am taking the time to learn and be a normal person ..... I love simply enjoying the basics of every day life !!!! Each person has their story and their take on other people’s stories !!!! We all have so many different bright beautiful lives !!! Remember, no matter what we think we know about a person's life it is nothing compared to the actual person living behind the lens  !!!! Don’t have a date for Valentine’s day? That’s okay because you can spend it with Justin Bieber! He announced that he is celebrating Valentines Day on Sunday with a performance of his album Journals on TikTok. Journals is the album that he put out in 2013 as part of his documentary Believe. The yearly concert that music fans call the #SuperBowl happened last night #TheWeeknd performed the #SuperBowlHalftimeShow and he went hard.  Many were impressed with his high energy performance, singing hits like Starboy, The Hills, Can’t Feel My Face and “In Your Eyes”. The performance was incredible, and as per usual, many people on Twitter immediately turning clips of the performance into memes The Weeknd is the third Canadian to perform the Super Bowl halftime show. Dan Aykroyd hit the stage as his Blues Brother character in 1997 and Shania Twain was on stage with other of singers in 2003.  On Sunday, the Mayor of Toronto John Tory announced that February 7th is The Weeknd Day in Toronto.  On top of the Weeknd’s performance we also saw Miley Cyrus performing as part of the first ever #TiktokTailgate party. Drake had a big payday as he was the star of the one of the SuperBowl commercials. We saw him rocking a State Farm shirt in a commercial for the company with people like NFL stars Aaron Rodgers and Patrick Mahomes, and actor Paul Rudd. We finally have an explanation as to why #TheWeeknd keeps wearing bandages on his face. We have seen him in many different stages of injury throughout the last year  and then a very interesting look for his last music video “Save Your Tears” where he appeared to have had a bunch of plastic surgery done. He finally explained his reason behind it all in an interview with Variety.  All eyes are going to be on The Weeknd this Sunday as he performs the #SuperbowlHalftimeShow. He has reportedly put $7 million of his own money into the performance and said we can expect a cinematic experience.  The Weeknd was supposed to spend most of his 2020 on tour but like everyone else he was forced to postpone his tour dates. Yesterday he announced a new list of dates for the tour that has now been moved to 2022. #TaylorSwift is getting sued by a theme park in Utah that’s called Evermore Park. They are suing her for copyright infringement for using their name as the name of her most recent album. They said that the name has pushed down the search result for their park when you google it and say that she has financially benefitted off the name with clothes and other merchandise. Taylor Swift’s people are saying that the lawsuit is frivolous and irresponsible consider that people won’t have too hard of a time telling the different between an album and a theme park. Country singer Morgan Wallen has been dropped from over 400 radio stations in the US and has been suspended from his record label.  There were tweets going around claiming that Bebe Rexha passed away, and some tweets even said it was confirmed by CNN.  Bebe Rexha, who is very much alive then chimed in tweeting saying “Jeez I stay off line for three days and not only am I dead but I died of a drug overdose?!?!” TJ Osbourne who is one half of the country duo Brothers Osbourne has come out as gay! He did an interview with Time where he explained that he has been out with his friends and family for years but now wants is to be public information. Sam Smith has praised going to therapy as a way to help handle and cope with mental health challenges. #Halsey made the big announcement that she is pregnant!  She shared the announcement photos on her Instagram with the caption saying “surprise!” She also posted the rainbow emoji possibly for the fact that this is going to be her rainbow baby. She tagged the man who is going to be the baby’s father so lets learn a little bit more about him! His name is Alex Aydin and he is a screenwriter and producer, he is 37 and he has only been seen once in public with Halsey before when they went to get some art supplies in LA. The two of them have never confirmed their relationship and because they were so low-key there were never even rumours that she was with anyone. This definitely confirms it though with his comment on the photo today says "Heart so full, I love you, sweetness" and he said "I love you!!!!!! And I love this mini human already!" We don’t know much about what to expect from The Weeknd’s Super Bowl Halftime Show coming up on February 7th but fans seem to believe that he is going to bring out some surprise performers. #JoJoSiwa made the big announcement over the weekend that she is a member of the LGBTQ+ community! JoJo had hinted towards it online with videos and photos before going on an Instagram live to explain that she doesn’t want to label herself just yet but is excited to share that she is part of the community. After the live was over her family was subject to a 'swatting'.  A swatting is a dangerous prank where someone calls in a false police report with the intention of getting a ton of police and swat teams to show up at your house. This has become something that people do to people who typically live stream video games and notable people online since the calls can be made anonymously. Seven police vehicles, a fire truck and many officers showed up to JoJo’s house where they then cleared up the confusion.  #BTS is coming out with another version of their album BE on February 19th, this time an Essential Edition! The album will include all 8 songs but they said in a press statement that “several components” of the album will be different. It’s also going to include a 140 page photo book, postcards and a poster.   JustinBieber reflected on a darker side of his past in a recent Instagram post. He shared a photo from the day 7 years ago when he was arrested in Florida where he was charged with driving under the influence, resisting arrest without violence, and driving with an expired license. Justin is a very different man than he was at the time of his arrest and has been very open about how he has now devoted his life to Christianity and being a good husband to his wife Hailey.  Miley Cyrus is going to be performing at the SuperBowl as part of the first ever TikTok Tailgate.  The event is going to be specifically for 7500 vaccinated healthcare workers who were invited by the NFL to enjoy the game. Cardi B and and Olivia Rodrigo recently had an amazing exchange on Twitter.  The song “Drivers License” by Olivia Rodrigo is the biggest song in the world right now, debuted at number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and has over 76 million streams in its first week.  Cardi B must be a fan, and is one of many artists who took notice.  Cardi said on Twitter, “Just like that girl wrote a song about getting her drivers license Imma write a song about the struggle of not having a drivers license.I really wanted my McDonald’s at 4am last night instead of today but I couldn’t so I felt asleep hungry.” Olivia responded saying, “girl i will pick u up and take u wherever u wanna go" Chrissy Teigen has been waiting four years to get unblocked by the President of the United States and it has finally happened. Chrissy travelled to DC with her family for the inauguration of the new president Joe Biden and she tweeted at him saying “hello joebiden I have been blocked by the president for four years can I get a follow plz” which he responded to by both unblocking and following her back. It’s extra funny when you realize he only follows 10 White House officials, his wife and now Chrissy. There were a ton of stars in DC to perform as part of the inauguration celebrations like Bruce Springsteen, Katy Perry, and John Legend who all took part in a special called Celebrating America that was hosted by Tom Hanks.  Katy Perry really brought it home by performing her song Firework with he most insane firework show behind her for the entirety of the performance. President Joe Biden and his wife Dr. Jill as well as Vice President Kamala Harris and her husband watched the performance and firework display from nearby. Drake promised us an album by January but went to his Instagram stories to explain that it won’t be coming out on time.  The album is called Certified Lover Boy and he explained that because of the surgery he had on his knee and the rehab he needed for it, he has put all of his focus into his recovery. Drake posted about his knee back in October and said there were 5 weeks where he wasn’t on his feet. Drake also hasn’t been hyping this album up very well. #KatyPerry is facing some backlash after tweeting about putting her dog on a vegan diet. She tweeted saying “I’m about 95% ready to be 100% VEGAN... my dog Nugget has been joining me on this journey for the past 4 monthz. Pray for us ok”.#PETA encouraged the diet for both Katy and Nugget while other people said by putting him on a plant based diet she is committing animal cruelty. Another tweet said “Katy, dogs are carnivores, we as humans shoudn’t take away from them this part that belongs to their species.” While others say that is false and dogs are actually omnivores and can in fact thrive while eating only plants.  #DemiLovato posted a video on her Instagram showing off two orbs flying around in the sky with the caption saying “they’re coming” with some UFO emojis. The response to the video was a mix of people also believing it could be aliens and others saying they are probably just balloons. Demi commented on her own post adding “They might be balloons/they might not be…but damn live a little. Y’all too serious.” This isn’t the first time Demi has brought up UFOs and her belief in aliens. Back in December she was on Kesha’s podcast and showed off photos and told stories about unidentified objects she has seen in the past.  #KanyeWest’s company #Yeezy is suing one of their interns for posting confidential photos of their collection on Instagram. The intern signed a non-disclosure agreement when he was hired that has a $500,000 liquidation damages clause meaning that if he is to post anything that is confidential information on social media he will have to pay up, and they are planning on enforcing this. He still hasn’t removed the photos even after several cease and desist letters. They are also insisting that he deletes the photos and they are banning him from posting anything like it in the future.  Jennifer Lopez is defending the fact that she hasn’t had any work done to her face for 500 millionth time, in her words. Someone commented on a post of JLo’s on Instagram and said “But can I just mention that brows and forehead doesn’t move at all when you talk or try to express…you definitely have Botox. She called him out in a video she posted on her Instagram saying that her Tesla has run over several cats since the car is a lot quieter than regular gas powered cars and the cats never realize the vehicle is coming before it’s too late. She said she didn’t want to say how many cats they have now lost but said it’s been really tragic and devastating for everyone involved. She suggested that the vehicles give off a sound that only animals can hear and it turns out this is something Tesla is already working on. Singer Tracy Chapman settled  her case against Nicki Minaj after Nicki used her song without permission.  In 2018, Nicki Minaj’s team asked for permission to sample Tracy’s song “Baby Can I Hold You” which they turned down. Nicki did in fact record the song which she called “Sorry” but didn’t put her song on her album. Instead the song was leaked and was shared around online.  Tracy then filed a lawsuit against Nicki. Nicki has offered $450,000 USD to Tracy to avoid the case going to trial and Tracy has accepted. Miley Cyrus shared the sad news that her dog Mary Jane passed away. We are getting a docu-series from #DemiLovato. It’s called ‘#DancingWithTheDevil’ and it is going to cover everything that has been going on with Demi over the last few years, including her overdose.  She said in a press statement “It’s been two years since I came face-to-face with the darkest point in my life, and now I’m ready to share my story with the world. For the first time, you’ll be able to see my chronicle of struggle and ongoing healing from my point of view.  I’m grateful that I was able to take this journey to face my past head-on and finally share it with the world."  The docu-series is coming out on March 23rd on YouTube.  Demi also announced that she is going to be performing at the US presidential inauguration of #JoeBiden on January 20th which is turning into a star studded event. Lizzo is defending herself after receiving a bunch of backlash after promoting a juice cleanse she went on. She posted videos to her TikTok and Instagram showing the progress photos of her 10 day cleanse and explained that after messing up her body by not eating properly. The comments quickly filled with people saying that she is promoting diet culture and unhealthy practices. Others say they were surprised at the fact that she would promote limited eating to people when she is all about preaching body positivity.  Lizzo responded by posting a video explaining that she didn’t do the cleanse in order to lose weight but to fix her stomach after eating lots of spicy food and drinking a lot in November. She talked about the benefits like sleep, inner peace, mental stability, her skin and more. She also made a post on her instagram saying, “To the people who look to me, please do not starve yourselves. I did not starve myself. I fed myself greens and water and fruit and protein and sunlight. You don’t have to do that to be beautiful or healthy. That was my way. You can do life your way. Remember, despite anything anyone says or does ✨DO WHAT YOU WANT WITH YOUR BODY” Shawn Mendes opened up about people assuming and guessing his sexuality when he was on the podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Sheppard. He talked about having to respond to the speculation and said “It was so frustrating for me because there were some people in my life that I was very, very close to who were gay and in the closet, and I felt like this real anger for those people. I don’t know, it’s such a tricky thing. You want to say, ‘I’m not gay but it’d be fine if I was gay, but also there’s nothing wrong with being gay but I’m not.’ You don’t really know how to respond to the situation.” He said that people have been calling him gay since he was 15 because of his feminine characteristics but when on to say that men shouldn’t feel shamed for being vulnerable and holding in emotions. It is nice that this is the message that he and people like Harry Styles are pushing because it’s totally true - we don’t need these “manly men” - we just need people who are comfortable in their skin.  After three years we are finally on our way to getting new music from Lorde. She went on a big trip to Antarctica last year that she says has been a huge influence on the album she is working on now.  Taylor Swift cleared up the rumours that she has a third secret album on the way. A lot of fans thought we could expect another one since they found the word “woodvale” in white font found on a photo she posted.  Taylor was on Jimmy Kimmel and explained that leaving that word there was actually an accident. She explained that she was keeping the album title “folklore” such a secret when creating the album and album art that she would use the word “woodvale” as a place holder. E! News posted a photo of Miley saying “If Miley Cyrus comments on this we'll change our Instagram bio to whatever she wants.” And Miley jumped at the opportunity to comment saying “We’re sorry for all the sh*t we said about Miley Cyrus”. They stuck to their promise and it’s now their new profile bio. People are calling Cardi B out on being a little tone deaf when it comes to bragging about spending money online. It started when she tweeted out asking “Should I spend 88K for this damn purse ? Omggg it’s tempting.”  This triggered responses from people telling her to donate her money to hungry people, and not be boastful online. Several high profile music stars are speaking out in support of The Weeknd's GRAMMYs snub.  Drake went to Instagram to say:  “I think we should stop allowing ourselves to be shocked every year by the disconnect between impactful music and these awards and just accept that what once was the highest form of recognition may no longer matter to the artists that exist now and the ones that come after. Ticketmaster is already planning for what life is going to be like after we get a vaccine for COVID-19 and how that is going to affect concert goers. Billboard Magazine is reporting that they are going to have a feature you can pull up on your phone to show that you are vaccinated or whether you have tested negative for the coronavirus within 24 to 72 hours of the show.  The plan came after the news broke that Pfizer has developed a vaccine that is reportedly 90% effective at preventing the coronavirus. The Country Music Association Awards took place last night and fans were quick to notice that attendees were not seen social distancing throughout the show and few seemed to be wearing masks.  Leading up to the award show there were a large number of musical guests that dropped out from appearing at the show.   Cardi B has responded to accusations of cultural appropriation for a photo she was in promoting her Reebok collaboration.  The photo shows Cardi who was photoshopped to resemble the Hindu goddess Durga while also holding a sneaker for the cover of Footwear News. It has since been removed from the publication’s instagram.  Cardi b captioned a video posted to her Instagram saying “I didn’t mean to offend or disrespect anybody’s culture. I can’t change the past but I’ll be more cautious in the future.” She then explained that the creative team told her the goddess represents strength,  femininity and liberation, and that is something she loves which made her want to do it.  Britney Spears has been trying to have her father removed as her main conservator. Britney has once again been denied his removal and her lawyer is now saying that she is not going to perform or create music moving forward since that will only benefit her father more, and put more money in his pocket.  Her lawyer also said that Britney is scared of her father which solidifies the #FreeBritney concerns that so many of her fans have. John Legend and Chrissy Teigen were spotted celebrating Joe Biden’s Presidential Nomination by hanging outside the windows of their car in LA alongside fans. There has been some drama between Jason Derulo and the #BTSArmy over the last few weeks.  The ARMY is upset with Jason because they believe he did not give BTS enough credit for Savage Love reaching number one on the charts.
