Zac delves into figuring out when to get help from agents, managers, and record labels and when people claiming to be able to help you may actually want you to help them.
This week, we are discussing the real reason to get into making comics and what the process of publishing a graphic novel was like after winning the Observer Graphic Short Story Prize. We also discuss the conundrum that artists sometimes face when faced with a large piece of work and how to overcome that.
Jonathan Cape and Comica, together with The Observer run a graphic short story prize each year, giving the winner the chance to see their work in print and win £1,000.
