Joining Bill in the studio this week was East Riding based singer-songwriter Emily River Thomson making a welcome return to the show. Emily played a great set of original songs, mainly from her excellent new album, Chrysalis, in which she has taken influence from country music. Emily also performed a new song that was written after the new album was released. The Fox's Den Show is broadcast live every Friday Night between 9pm & midnight and can be heard on air at 101.8FM in the western wolds area of East Yorkshire. The show is also streamed live at www.vixen101.co.uk and we can also be found at: www.facebook.com/thefoxsdenshow

Joining Bill in the studio this week was Country Music singer/songwriter Scarlett Whincup from Halifax making her debut on the show. Scarlett played a great mix of original and covers, including a countrified version of an Andy Williams song. Playing guitar with backing vocals and additional instruments streamed to the desk via a piece of technical wizardry, Scarlett aced her set and is more than welcome to come back on in the future. The Fox's Den Show is broadcast live every Friday Night between 9pm & midnight and can be heard on air at 101.8FM in the western wolds area of East Yorkshire. Joining Bill in the studio this week was Curtis & Mcleod making both their debut and their second appearance on the show - well, debut for C&M, and second appearance as last time they were known as Oakleas Rise. Consisting of Lesley Curtis on vocals and shakers, and Stuart Mcleod on vocals and guitar, they played a great set of their original folk songs and we look forward to their return to the studio, no matter what they decide to call themselves next time. Joining Bill in the studio this week was East Yorkshire songsmith Jim Danby making a welcome return to the studios. Jim performed a great set of his own songs - some old and some new, ranging from the serious to a pee-shantie! Mike Cooling also popped in for the first half of the show to lend his support to Jim and he also performed a couple of his own songs, too. The Fox's Den Show is broadcast live every Friday Night between 9pm & midnight and can be heard on air at 101.8FM in the western wolds area of East Yorkshire. Joining Bill in the studio this week was Eve Thomas, making a welcome return to the show. Eve sang a great selection of songs from her latest album, as well as a couple of Gothic songs from her forthcoming EP, which is due out on 3rd October. Last time we asked Eve to read the weather in Japanese, but we spared her this time - but she did make a couple of excellent cups of coffee!
