Great episode as usual, but profoundly shocking that a forward thinking podcast like this glosses over the huge health hazard of wood burning stoves. The stove industry has learned from the fossil fuel industry spreading disinformation about the toxicity of their products. Even the supposed eco stoves are 18 times more polluting than a diesel truck. That supposed lovely smell is benzene

Here in Alberta, Canada, the provincial government just wants to keep burning fossil fuels, they complain about not wanting solar farms, but will only allow homeowners to only put up enough solar for their own consumption, no off peak metering, no rebate if you buy an EV. I'm beginning to have a rant, like you, Robert. love the show. I'm a long-time subscriber from Western Canada.

Funny thing is for 9 months, you hear the "informed by Facebook et al" moan "you shouldn't load the grid during the day. It can't cope!" and the less informed EV users will comply by charging at night... 😋

Ever heard of a little place called India, Robert? I know that at 1 point something billion people, it's an easy one to miss, but they do drive on the left too mate. You might want to rethink how many people in the world actually drive on the left. There are quite a few of us.

51:53 Small correction: As the dollar panels are approximately 20% efficient (1/5th), it takes 10 days.

@38:35 For clarity: Your Tesla wil still use it and reroute you if possible (and adjust ETA), it just doesn't show the coloured traffic lines.

No glass milk bottles in the UK? That's a market waiting to be filled. Been back here in NZ for some time now

You can't get your milk in glas bottles in the UK? Wow. We even have machines that dispense milk into whatever you want to hold under the tap here in N.Z. There's nothing stopping you from filling up a gumboot if you really feel like a boot full of milk. Glass milk bottles are back to stay here.
