This episode is the first of a two part, where we discuss the life choices that have taken us where we are today. First up; Gustav - the environmental activist that became a venture capitalist.
This time around we talk about change management and what the successful cornerstones of running a change project are. We dive into when is the right time for change and when it's the right time to stay put out of an organizational perspective. And always, we examine the topic out of both a public and private viewpoint.
This week, by popular deman, we talk about how society is benefited by circular business models. We talk about how capitalism isn't the opposite to sustainability and how circularity can turn something that is fundamentally unsustainable into the very opposite.
As suggested by a listener, we today talk about the Metaverse. The implications it has on how municipalities interact with citizens and the problem of how fast a metaverse can be adopted by individuals compared to municipalities. We also look into the business model of Meta and how this can carry over to the products the company releases and how this impacts the world.
This week, the discussion is focused on Intrapreneurship. Are intrapreneurs just entrepreneurs that can't hack it, or are intrapreneurs the change makers that are needed to push the world forward? No stone get's left unturned as we examine the issue from both a governmental/municipal perspective and from a company perspective.
Andi introduces the topic of the day; how product lifecycles has connected the basic human desire for something new with companies' desire for increased revenue. This connection has been done in a way that at most times are unsustainable. During this episode we unpack the pros and cons of short product lifecycles and get into whether innovation and sustainability are mutually exclusive.
After some initial introductions where we touch on Dunning-Kruger, tattoos, footwear and sustainability messaging we talk about the actual subject. Which for this initial episode is how high energy prices are affecting us all right now. But also what kind of impact high energy prices have on innovation and sustainable development.
