It is getting wild!! With just a week to go in the regular season, several playoff spots are still up for grabs with multiple close races that have yet to be decided! In the NL, who takes that last Wild Card spot? The Mets and Reds are tied with the Diamondbacks just a single game back. Can the Mets surge the last week and claim that last position? In the AL, the standings could change overnight. The Guardians have climbed all the way up into a playoff spot and are even trailing the Tigers by just one game for the division. The Astros have surrendered the division lead to the Mariners and could be on the outside looking in. Who will be the odd man out in the American League? Is the division title still possible for the Yankees? They trail the Blue Jays by just two games and have an easy schedule to close out the season. PLUS Dalton's Hot Corner might be the only thing hotter than these division races.
