Description

Today's family and social-economic systems are failing and will continue to do so unless the collective people regain a proper understanding of reality. Generations Radio, with Kevin Swanson, presents that proper understanding of reality by speaking to the issues people face in the modern day from the perspective of a biblical worldview. Broadcasting from our basement studio in Elizabeth, Colorado, we reach over 100 countries.

There is far less need for abortion clinics now, given that about half of the kill pill abortions are do-it-yourself (DIY). The US Supreme Court isn’t about to curtail access to abortions by mail. Half of Wyoming abortions are conducted by the kill pill by mail program. But Colorado is committed to shielding citizens who reach across borders for their kills. What should Texas do? If Colorado slave traders kidnapped Texas citizens in order to enslave them into the sex trade (and the slave traders were protected by Colorado law) . . . what would Texas do? Saul’s policies of accommodation and compromise on principle aren’t going to produce any meaningful repentance.   This program includes:  1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Trump is angry that Biden has targeted pro-lifers, Will women be drafted? 1,300 Muslims died during pilgrimage to Mecca) 2. Generations with Kevin Swanson
We come upon yet another public story of a Christian fundamentalist with an externalist facade imploding all over the TV screen to the delight of the TLC reality show producers. There is a form of religiosity that lacks the power thereof, and the story is only told a billion times over, around the world. Considering the extraordinary number of catastrophes coming upon a great many homeschooling and fundamentalist families, we lay out the five core issues that are too often missing among those who appear to be the most religious. This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Couple discovers abandoned newborn, Tennessee governor calls for 30 days of prayer and fasting in July, Catholic man imprisoned for accidentally stepping on Quran) 2. Generations with Kevin Swanson
The Southern Baptists are leading the charge against the unethical practices of IVF.  But that only addresses 0.1% of the problem of abortions by conception control and intervention. We explain why IVF and abortifacients are contrary to the laws of God.  But how does a Christian redeem twisted systems like polygamy, slavery, concubinage, and IVF? This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Megachurch pastor Robert Morris resigns over moral failure, Vladimir Putin and Kim Jong Un sign pact in China’s shadow, German shot put athlete gives glory to God) 2. Generations with Kevin Swanson
El Salvador’s president fears God, but then he forecasts the end of democracy and the end of western civilization in an interview with Tucker Carlson. Are the leaders bent on destroying our civilization as suspected? We present four possible scenarios for the end of a civilization, and then point out the history of liberties as established by Christians over a thousand years.  This program includes:  1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (11 Christians released from prison in India, Hungary is allowed to ban assisted suicide, 103-year-old World War II veteran prays daily)  2. Generations with Kevin Swanson
Charles Spurgeon was the most published author of the 19th Century, and his life marks the last major spiritual revival of England.  But, it was the Downgrade that killed him.  Here is a brief introduction to the life and ministry of God's man of the 1800s. This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (Franklin Graham defines Biblical marriage in Birmingham, England; Boston Celtics coach's T-shirt: "But first, let me thank God." Biden’s new path to citizenship for 500,000 illegals) 2. Generations with Kevin Swanson
How Christianity Grows

How Christianity Grows

2024-06-1832:09

Another mega-church pastors steps down. After a 40 year experiment with the mega-ministry thing, we’ve finally come to the conclusion that the kingdom of God does not come with observation. The growth is much more under the radar, quiet and seemingly inconspicuous. The mega-power game, the centralization of control just doesn’t work for the church of Jesus. This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (El Salvadoran president turned to God in prayer, The foul diatribes of Covenant School massacre shooter, Surgeon General calling for mental health warnings for social media) 2. Generations with Kevin Swanson
The most pro-life states in America (on most recent polls) are Idaho, Utah, Arkansas, and South Dakota.  But the voters in these pro-life states tend to go pro-abortion when they vote on referendums.  What gives? We grapple with this question, and provide a few answers.  What’s wrong with the heartland of America? Reform however, must begin with churches who will take the principled stand — personhood from conception. This program includes: 1. The World View in 5 Minutes with Adam McManus (FBI’s suspicious claims about dramatic drop in crime, Five Christian sanitation workers died in Pakistan of inhaling toxic gases, Clarification on Texas abortion statistics) 2. Generations with Kevin Swanson
The Southern Baptist Convention has historically been one of the largest conservative Christian organizations within the country. We’re currently seeing another battle occur within the convention over feminism and women pastors. The battle isn’t over yet. Feminism and egalitarianism are gigantic forces in America, and they’re affecting the churches. Kevin and Bill Jack discuss the issues of feminism and women pastors in American churches on this edition of the program.
The Worldview of Anime

The Worldview of Anime

On this edition of Generations, Kevin and Bill Jack discuss Japanese anime and the worldview behind it. Is anime appropriate for Christians, or is there more to it than cute characters and fun adventures? How does it affect those who watch it?
There is a push for government funding for homeschools in the US right now. On this edition of Generations, Kevin Swanson interviews Brian Ray regarding the importance of keeping homeschooling private and out of reach of enforced government rules and regulations.
The Star Wars franchise goes “gay” with “The Acolyte.” And we trace the roots of the cultural homosexual agenda to Star Wars, super heroes, and fantasy. Why do men create an alternate reality, but to open the door to every form of perversion? Where God doesn’t exist, anything is possible.
Pride vs. Humility

Pride vs. Humility

2024-06-1040:08

In 2019, world pride hit the highest levels ever. In June 2019, unprecedented numbers of people were marching in the streets, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the first pride marches in 1969. On this edition of Generations, Kevin Swanson and Adam McManus discuss Pride Month and propose celebrating Humble Month in place of Pride Month.
Women are leading—ten times more so than they did in the 1970s and 1980s. And women political leaders are two times to three times more liberal than men. This is the end of men and freedom in the world. Boys are disadvantaged by 40 percent born without fathers, and 60 percent of custody cases are rolling to mom. That makes for 66 percent of boys not having dads for large portions of their lives. Where do we go from here? The solutions are a return to the Gospel, to fatherhood, and mass mentorship for young men.
A consequence of a broken nation and failed character is political breakdown, civil war, and kangaroo courts. However, Christian pastors are insisting on a Trump vote. Save the nation and vote! But will that solve our problem? We have other thoughts on how to save a nation.
Tune into this edition of Generations as Kevin Swanson reads a devotion on Proverbs 1:20-23. Our Proverbs Bible Study Guides, along with other study guides from our Family Bible Study Guide series, can be found at https://store.generations.org/.
Hear the real story behind Exodus International's dissolution in May of 2013. Conversion and restoration for repentant homosexuals is real. It is happening everywhere around the country. Kevin Swanson interviews David Foster, himself a repentant homosexual, on his new film project entitled "Such Were Some of You." These are the stories that the media does not want you to hear. What is it like for a homosexual to repent and recover from a state of sexual brokenness?
Are we supposed to be pilgrims and strangers, or are we called to be world changers? Would pilgrims and strangers ever address themselves to the job of discipling the nations? Are pastors concerned with keeping politics out of the church, or equipping the man and woman of God to every good work? Christ's admonitions concerning salt and light are not merely descriptives, but prescriptives.
The 2024 Paris Summer Olympics will feature three drag queens hoisting the Olympic torch . . . in accord with the Olympic theme this year—"Games Wide Open." We cover the history of feminism and transgenderism in the Olympics, but find that these doctrines were linked all the way back into the 1830s—with the first generation of philosopher-feminists.
The Elite are highly-educated liberal city dwellers, and they want to take over the country. They want to eliminate the vote for the uneducated and saddle the citizenry with more government control of every aspect of their lives. That according to a new Rasmussen report. These elitists are politically obsessed, utopian, and power hungry, and they already control the universities and the media. Will they gain totalitarian control of the country?
American founders weren’t libertarians in the modern definition of the term—homosexual pro-aborts arguing for the abolishment of the death penalty. But what of a relaxation on abortion laws? Why not? We give three reasons why a society cannot relax the law on killing babies.

This is absolutely stupid. Fred Rogers was a Presbyterian minister who didn't need to spend time preaching about Jesus because, instead of talking at people about how Jesus wanted us to live, he was LIVING it. He was walking the walk.
