Final episode of the season!

The Goblins Creek MCU Ranking episode

We each ranked all the movies in the mcu from worst to best, and compared and contrasted lists. What's yours, hotshot?

The Goblins' Creek Far From Home

More general spidey talk, but we liked this one better than homecoming. Also we're publishing this way late but we found out Michael Brooks died right before we recorded so we were a little sullen to start. Otherwise, more shenanigans and jokes made at Tom Hollands expense, at least one in poor taste.

The Goblins' Creek Endgame

We responded surprisingly warmly to this film, especially after trashing it for 22 episodes. Still much to trash! Sorry for the length.

The Goblins Creek Captain Marvel

To be honest, this movie was something of a slog to get through even though we both tried our hardest to enjoy it. Frankly, it's hard to watch this many MCU movies and enjoy anything sober. Had fun making the episode though! Shout out to Ben Mendelson's beautiful blue eyes.

The Goblins' Creek Antman and The Wasp

It takes two to make a thing go right! It takes weed to make it out of sight. We had a surprising amount of fun with this one despite being in the middle of our T-break, even if we did just yell at each other for the first ten minutes. Plus! My feelings on people whose favorite Pokemon is Umbreon and Sasha's hatred of Michael Douglas' Hank Pym.

09-06
01:08:42

The Goblins' Creek Infinity War

We end this long-ass episode with a sadly appropriate discussion of the way the MCU cheapens the deaths of it's characters.

09-01
01:56:52

The Goblins' Creek Black Panther

Rest in Power, King.

08-26
01:21:35

The Goblins' Creek Ragnarok

A lot to talk about with a movie we loved, and watched in little snack sized bits while we were packing.

08-25
01:09:08

The Goblins' Creek Homecoming

We spend almost exactly one hour emphasizing and re-emphasizing essentially the same point; Tom Holland is overrated. Plus! A discussion of the three live-action Peters, some Michael Keaton praise, and terrible Dane Dehaan impressions. Remember, Libel's in print, so this is all slander.

08-19
01:01:01

The Goblins' Creek GoTG Vol.2

We end this episode with a spirited debate of Kraglin's role in the film, other than that we mostly just talked about what we liked in what is probably our favorite MCU movie.

08-17
50:45

The Goblins' Creek: Civil War

There is unrest in the Galactic Senate. Several thousand solar systems have declared their intentions to leave the Republic. Wait, sorry, different civil war, but we open this episode with a discussion of everyone's favorite Star Wars movie. Plus, we debate the Sokovia accords and explain why Zemo remains the MCU's most underrated villain, along with a discussion of the pervasive Black-soldier-best-friend MCU trope. Tune in to our longest episode yet, justified by how much fun we had with this bizarre, wildly entertaining story of betrayal, lies, and Tony Stark's daddy-issues.

08-13
01:27:55

The Goblins' Creek: D. Strange

In what feels like our most serious, on-topic episode yet, we discuss the orientalism, ableism and white-washing of a movie we otherwise loved. Plus, our first out-door recording lends the quintessential New Jersey sounds of incessant leaf blowing and both my parents. As per usual, the end of the episode devolves into a debate of MCU hero power level and mentor rankings, but the first half-hour remains surprisingly substantive. Why take my word for it? Hit fuckin play.

08-13
49:28

The Goblins' Creek: AntMan

Remember to take your medications today! Our discussion of Ant Man is dominated by the grossness of ants and the instability of snake-faced Darren Cross. Plus we debate Chris Pratt v.s. Paul Rudd, and Michael Pena remains our favorite Scientologist.

08-12
36:28

The Goblins' Creek: Gabagooltron

A very special episode for a very special episode. Listen up folks, this one's a doozy.

08-11
50:22

The Goblins' Creek: Guardians of The Galaxy

We agree this is Chris Pratt's best performance, besides that, we struggle to get each other to talk about the movie. A discussion of the infinity stones, a preview of our Endgame takes, and a rapidly incoherent LeBron-Thanos comparison win the day. Plus, the MCU's most unceremonious fridging and whether our stuffed animal Dragon prefers Sasha or Michael (Hint: It's Michael).

08-11
33:58

The Goblins' Creek: The Winter Soldier

We're back! This time with a discussion of the best boring MCU movie, The Winter Soldier. Also the grayest.

08-11
41:19

The Goblins' Creek: The Dark World

Lots of hot topics in this one; Sasha finally reveals her true feelings about Darcy. We discuss Zachary Levi’s MCU debut. Rampant Love and Thunder speculation. You’re going to want to tune in.

08-03

The Goblins' Creek: Iron Man 3

A famous man once said “We create our own demons”. Who said that? What does that even mean? Doesn’t matter. I said it cuz he said it. So now... he was famous and it’s basically getting said by two well known guys. I don’t... aghugh I’m gonna start again. Let’s track this from the beginning. (dew dew dew)YO LISTEN UP HERES A STORY

The Goblins' Creek: The Avengers

In our first late night episode, we ask some important questions. Did Endgame Thanos watch Infinity War? Did Banner-Romanov ever work? And what, exactly, makes for a good Hulk arc? Plus, you guessed it, more on Gabagooltron and Iron Man 2 villains.
