Starting off with a debate and some epiphanies we had during our week. Then we tell you all about how we came up with this week’s hot topic. We have been craving some true crime, political scandals or crazy stories! We focused in on the theme of hysteria. Sav talks about two different occurrences of mass hysteria. First, the “Monkey Man of Delhi”, then she covers “Strawberries and Sugar” in Portugal. Then Gab dives into a new segment of “stumping Sav” by teaching her something new when it comes to these kinds of stories. She tries to find something that Sav has never heard. So she covers the Missouri State Penitentiary and the 1954 Riot. We discuss hysteria and how people can be swayed to believe the most crazy or even just misinformed information.
