Canadian centre & Olympic silver medalist, Alysha Corrigan, joins Scaz, Mo & Elma this week, to relive the games in Paris & discuss Canada’s ascent to the top of the 15s game. We hear all about Scaz & Alysha’s match up in New Zealand during the World Cup & how Mo thinks her medal box looks like Paddington Bears’ lunchbox. Also Elma won’t drop the killer whale story, so this week Shira’s left it in. You’re all welcome.
Elma, Scaz & Mo are joined by Aimee Barrett-Theron, the first professional female referee in South Africa who’s been in the middle for the Olympics and Rugby World Cups. Aimee exclusively reveals that she’s autistic & that her neurodivergence is her super power on the pitch! She talks openly about how difficult it is to be the first woman in such a male dominated space & gives us her best comebacks to players when they take things too far. Expect even more chino chat, somehow.
The girls are back in the studio without a guest this week to get stuck into the burning questions… what should we call the England Men’s rugby team? What is a Wallaby? And Where is Wally? Elma, Scaz & Mo look at the World Cup draw, the autumn internationals, banning the word ladies from women’s sport & Scaz’s green chiiiiiinos… Mo also clears up the Ilona Maher rumours about Gloucester-Hartpury…
Back to back PWR winners & triple BUCS Super Rugby Champs all live under one roof, at Hartpury Uni in deepest darkest Gloucestershire. Our Mo, their Co-Captian has peeled back the door to her Circus Tent to show us what’s cooking at GH. Her teammates, Kelsey Jones 🏴 & Georgia Brock 🏴 join her, along with the Hartpury Uni girls they’ll be mentoring for the season, as part of ours & Vodafone’s EmpowHER programme. Then Mo brings in the big dogs in charge of developing the GH model; James Forrester, AKA Jango, Sean Lynn & Andrew Ford, to unpick how the pathway was forged & talk about what’s next for the girls in pink.
Scaz & Mo are back… fresh off the plane from Canada & they’ve brought two front row friends with them, in Hannah Botterman & Amy Cokayne. The final game against Canada is obviously discussed, but after nearly four months in eachothers company, it’s hardly surprising that Scaz’s chinos, her friendship with Gaby Logan & her use of the term oojamaflip get far more airtime. To say this episode is the roast of Emily Scarratt, is an understatement.
Two thousand three hundred fans joined Siya Kolisi at Athlone Stadium to watch the drama of WXV2, after he put out a call to South Africans to come & support the Women Boks with him... so he’s joined Elma & Meg Jones on the pod, to tell us why he loves women's rugby so much. Elma & our Barbie Girl, Meg, also look ahead to the final weekend of WXV & get into what it means for World Cup qualification.
Scaz & Mo are in Canada, so Katy Daley-Mclean & Meg Jones join Elma to discuss Ireland’s historic win, with their currently injured co-captain, Sam Monaghan. How far can this Ireland team go? What big decisions does John Mitchell need to make? & who would’ve thought Meg Jones was a Barbie Girl?
Scaz & Mo popped by the studio just before they flew to Canada, to discuss pre-season, WXV, the Black Ferns and Ilona Maher’s world that we’re all just living in. Expect more Moisms, a few Scazisms, lots of rugby & somehow even more silliness, as ever, shepherded by our South African Queen.
A decade after winning the Rugby World Cup, our Scaz & our Mo & our steering-wheel AKA captain Katy Daley-Mclean, pull their World Cup winning kit back on to tell us all about the best & the worst parts of their most successful campaign in an England shirt. Mo teaches us the science behind pickle juice, Elma says Wye Aye Man one too many times & we unpick THAT Scaz try in the final that almost never was…

Our Mo & her Circus came from behind to win back-to-back PWR titles on Saturday!! So, as Gloucester-Hartpury & Bristol Bears fans head to the M5 & the Sandy Park tractor attempts to take the posts down, Elma, Scaz, Mo & KDM wrap up the 2023/24 season on the pitch in the sunshine. They’re joined by fan favourite, Maud Muir (also known as Taylor Swift) & soon to be GB7s Olympian, Ellie Kildunne. Prepare for chaos, end of term fancy dress, an olympic preview & a look ahead to next season…

Mo’s Gloucester-Hartpury fly-half & co-captain, Lleucu George & Zoe Aldcroft, join the gang to look ahead to their semi-final match up against Exeter Chiefs this Sunday. The girls congratulate Scaz on her big mini-league win before discussing leadership, mechanical bulls & what might be this season. Get ready to RTT with The Circus’ brain trust.
With the Paris Olympics around the corner & the final stop on the Sevens Series in Madrid this weekend, the girls are joined by two of GB7s finest... Abbie Brown & Jasmine Joyce-Butchers. The girls discuss the realities of being part of a programme where funding doesn’t match their competitors and what a shot at medalling in Paris after two consecutive fourth places means to them. The chronicles of the hall pass rumble on, Scaz & Mo make a plea to halt the purchase of croissants, Jaz’s dog story steals the show & Protein Pete gets in on the action.
Scaz finally visits her adopted homeland, Scotland, with her Loughborough teammates, Rachel Malcolm & Helen Nelson. This season the trio have been mentoring students from Edinburgh Uni as part of GSR & Vodafone’s EmpowHER programme - connecting uni rugby to the elite game. So they catch up with two uni players, Cieron Bell & Nicole Flynn, who made it into Scotland’s match day squad last month & their coach, former Scotland player, Claire Cruikshank. They discuss the season that was in the BUCS WNL, Celtic Challenge & the Six Nations… & Scaz can’t hide the fact she loves being dubbed ‘The Beyoncé of Rugby’.
The business end of the season is upon us, so Elma, Scaz & Mo are taking a peek behind enemy lines at StoneX Stadium. A home semi-final is yet to be booked for Saracens, so the girls are joined by two of their forward pack, Georgia Evans & Donna Rose, to discuss what’s to come… including a match up against Mo’s unbeaten Gloucester-Hartpury. They also get into Wales’ Six Nations, the hate the girls received on social media & their upcoming WXV2 qualification match. Oh & Donna makes Elma blush, Scaz gets obsessed with a cupboard, & Mo can’t believe she was given a bird book. Twit-twoo.

Chaos reigns as Scaz & Mo return from Bordeaux, and relive the big moments from their third consecutive Six Nations Grand Slam title campaign. They delve into Mitch’s impact & his emotional outpouring post-Le Crunch, as well as Ireland, Scotland & Wales’ final round performances. We also find out how many croissants Scaz would swap her shirt for, how many Barbaras are saved in her phone & which common British bird is Mo’s favourite…
The final round is upon us; will the Red Roses manage back to back Grand Slams? & who will snatch third place, to guarantee WXV1 & World Cup qualification? Elma & KDM have called in the two oracles of women's rugby to answer these questions - the founder of ScrumQueens, the OG women’s rugby website & publisher, Ali Donnelly & BBC Sport reporter & commentator extraordinaire, Sara Orchard.

Bottom of the table Wales are having a tough ride in this year's Six Nations, so Elma’s called on our Welsh bureau in scrum half, Ffion Lewis & second row, Gwen Crabb, to give us the lowdown. They talk us through what they would change about the structure of rugby in Wales & interrupt each other more times than we can count… We also get some top tips on podcasting, ACL rehab… and start the Aoife Wafer fan club, courtesy of Gwen.
