The podcast is a teaching mechanism to share God's word. It focuses on the reality that mankind is a hopeless sinner that is dead in their trespasses (Eph 2:1; Col 2:13). All must repent of sins and place their faith in Jesus Christ for the removal of their sins and receive eternal life. Only God's tenacious love can snatch a wretched soul out of the fires of hell and bring them into the kingdom. We all must remember, hell is justice for the sinner. We all deserve it. But, because God's love is so complete and stoops so low, He could not resist sharing that pure love with us. Jesus is Lord!

As the world continues to spin problems continue to escalate. Currently we are dealing ICE raids in Southern, CA. Downtown Los Angeles has been a war zone for the past week. Protestors are angry that the President has sent it federal troops to round up illegal immigrants for deportation. This is one of many problems plaguing or world. Many no doubt are asking, "Where is God in all of this? Does He even care what is happening?" Of course He does. Although God is invisible, does not mean He is not near. As a matter of fact He told His disciples that He would be with them always. He is with us now (His Children) even when all hell is breaking loose.
Two Thieves

Two Thieves

2025-03-1023:28

We know Jesus was crucified between two thieves. Initially both thieves mocked the Lord along with the religious leaders and the crowd. But for some reason one of the thieves had a change of heart and realized he deserved to die. What did he say to Jesus? What did Jesus say to him?https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2020/04/the-great-faith-of-criminal-on-cross.html
In this special edition episode, Delvin and his wife Candice celebrate and talk a little bit about their marriage journey - some highs and lows. This discussion is directed to married, engaged and dating couples specifically. Of course those who are single can benefit too. Recommended books: Total Forgiveness by R.T. How should we respond when we hear habitual error from the pulpit or one another? Should we just conclude it is a move of the Holy Spirit; the person has heard from the Lord, or should we challenge the person's view with scripture? Is it loving to fight for truth or is it antagonism? What does the Bible say about this matter? Blog Article: https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2024/12/are-we-supposed-to-fight-for-biblical_9.html
In this brief episode I discuss the origins of all the world's problems to date. I also discuss the only solution for mankind's deliverance and salvation. **Originally Recorded 10.19.24**
What does the Bible means when it says God repents? Obviously if God is repenting then the matter is very serious. When man repents it means he is changing his mind regarding sin, but we know God cannot sin so what is God or divine repentance looks like? https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/search?q=When+God+Repents
Christians claim they can bind and rebuke the devil and demons in prayer. Why? Because whatsoever you bind on earth is bound in heaven, and whatever one looses on earth is loosed in heaven right? Jesus mentions that phrase twice in Matthew chapters 16 and 18. This episode will explain in context what binding and loosing actually means. https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2011/07/whats-binding-and-loosing.html
Paul is discussing marriage in 1 Corinthians 7. Verse 12 he says something that on the surface is problematic. He appears to be giving his own opinion. Is this true? Does God allow Paul to share his opinion and it to be on par with scripture? **A Bonus Episode is attached to this where I discuss 2 Peter 3:9**
Touch Not My Anointed

Touch Not My Anointed

What does this statement mean? Some believe it to mean that no one can critique the Elder Pastor or Bishop. Is this true? Are Church leaders beyond rebuke or correction because they are anointed of God? Is the phrase being used in or out of context today? Who can be anointed? Is it just Church leaders or is it all Christians? https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2024/01/touch-not-my-anointed.html https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2011/10/what-is-anointing.html
The nature of God has been debated since the 2nd and 3rd Centuries AD. What is the Trinity? Can we prove that God is a Triune Being or are we as Christians worshipping three gods? What is Modalism? These matters and more will be discussed in this episode. https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2023/12/can-we-prove-trinity-in-bible.html
Jonah was a Hebrew Prophet with a terrible attitude. In spite of his terrible disposition there are valuable lessons he teaches us due to his infamous relationship with the city of Nineveh - the town God commanded him to go and preach against. Stay tuned to learn what one can learn from the Prophet's bad example. http://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2023/11/the-book-of-jonah.html

Does water baptism save you? Many people believe it does. If so, how does it harmonize with belief in Jesus Christ? What does the Bible have to say? Stay tuned to find out in this brand new episode. https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2012/03/why-water-baptism.html https://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2017/02/lets-discuss-baptism.html
Bizarre title I know. This episode will be discussing the sharing of the gospel message and the result I received and friends of mine when went to a local neighborhood and preached. I will discuss what God's word has to say about how we are to respond to a listener's behavior. Blog Article:http://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2023/09/have-you-spoken-to-any-dogs-or-pigs.html
Victory In Christ

Victory In Christ

2023-08-3040:39

Do you feel defeated in your walk with God? Are you losing too many battles? Has your faith gotten shaky? Does the Lord seem far away when you call on Him? If so, your faith needs a turbo boost. Please allow this episode to encourage you and your walk with the Lord. The scriptures Delvin will read in this episode will strengthen and embolden you for the days ahead. But you MUST trust in the Lord to see you through. http://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2019/08/lord-i-believe-help-my-unbelief.html
Pretty tall order huh? Is there a way or ways to defeat the sin in our lives as believers? Yes! The Bible provides the answer. But we have to be intentional on having victory in this most critical area. What is the prescription? What are the steps? As a special bonus I added a link below to my new favorite podcast duo, Darrell Harrison and Virgil "Omaha" Walker. They are hosts of the Just Thinking Podcast. Their latest episode: "A Biblical Theology of Climate Change." They record long form podcasts. This one is 3 hours and 35 minutes long and is worth every second! My accompanying blog article to this episode is also linked below. http://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2023/07/how-to-keep-sin-at-bay.html https://justthinking.me/ep-124-a-biblical-theology-of-climate-change/
This episode deals with the pre-supposition that the unsaved person is seeking for God? Is this true? Can the unsaved seek God? This episode will provide the answer
The answer to this question is cultural and Biblical. How should the Church interact with believers especially non-believers when they enter the house of the Lord? Should the Church treat non-believers with kid gloves so that they will enter through the doors?. What style of worship should happen? What is the correct approach? The YouTube clip is of the 5 year old "preaching" http://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2023/07/what-is-seeker-sensitive-church.html https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26F7ibUTGEs&t=701s
I have discussed and written on this matter before but it bears repeating. A "minister" taught that a person does not go to hell because of their sins because they are covered by the blood of Christ, rather they go to hell due to unbelief. So, is unbelief a sin or not? Check out what is said in this episode.
Life And Death

Life And Death

Jesus told Martha in John 11 those who believe in Him will never die. When he said this her brother Lazarus was dead. What did Jesus mean? This sounds contradictory. This episode explains what Jesus meant.
The Fear of God

The Fear of God

2023-06-1516:28

What does it mean to fear God? Are we to be terrified of Him? There are differing views on that matter. Does it mean we cower and hide from Him because He's in heaven and we're here on earth? How should we approach the Lord? Blog Article: http://gospelofrepentance.blogspot.com/2023/06/the-fear-of-god.html
