What if God's Power Shines Most When You Stop Pretending? Discussion Questions for 2 Corinthians 11-13: Why does Paul spend so much time "boasting" about his sufferings and weaknesses in chapter 11? What point is he making? In 2 Corinthians 12:2–4, Paul mentions being "caught up to the third heaven." What does this mean, and what might Paul have experienced or seen there? Why do you think Paul refers to himself in the third person when describing this heavenly vision? What does this tell us about Paul and his purpose in sharing it? What do you think Paul's "thorn in the flesh" might have been? Why do you think God allowed it to remain? Read verse 9. What does it mean for God's grace to be sufficient for you? How can you practically "boast in weakness" so that Christ's power may rest on you? Read verse 10. Reflect on this paradox: "When I am weak, then I am strong." What does this look like in real life? Can you think of a time when God's strength showed most clearly through your weakness? Read 13:5. What is the true test of salvation according to this passage? How does that differ from assessing our works or inspecting our fruit?
Jesus said not to judge, but then God judges us? And shouldn't we make "judgment calls"? Can Satan read our minds? If not, then how are we always getting sinful thoughts in our heads? Why do so many Christian parents allow their children to participate in Halloween with costumes and trick-or-treating? Is it right or wrong?
Can a true believer fall so hard that they can't repent and be forgiven by God? Do we receive the Holy Spirit by the laying on of hands? If not, then how exactly? Will some Christians miss the rapture and be left behind because of disobedience?
What's the deal with head coverings in 1 Corinthians? Does God still hear repetitive prayers like at the dinner table? Is Christianity largely a pursuit of knowledge? What is the truth about the Eucharist and transubstantiation?
I have so much guilt and regret over how I treated people during my lifetime. How can I find relief? The Ten Commandments says "no other gods before Me" yet we worship and pray to Jesus. Isn't that a contradiction? I lost my husband and then became physical with another man. Does this mean I lose my salvation and miss out on Heaven?
Should all pastors have a truth-checker displayed behind them while they preach? I left the church when I became an adult. How do I get back to God? Do you think Eve recognized the voice of Satan? Thank you for the "All or Nothing" podcast series!
Do we need to confess every sin to God? To be more forgiven? If not, then how about just agreeing with Him? Are the mustard seed and the tree in Matthew 13 about church denominations today? What does it mean to be "born of the Spirit"? Do we have to be persecuted in order to be proven as real believers? Which Bible version do you recommend?
Are You Being Built Up—or Just Impressed? Some churches could win awards for production value. Smoke machines, light shows, maybe even a horse or a Harley down the center aisle. But when you hit the parking lot, what are you really left with? Goosebumps or the Gospel? The Apostle Paul wasn't chasing applause or followers. He wasn't trying to wow the crowd. He was building believers up in Christ. Big difference. The real battle isn't in the pews. It's in the mind! That's where truth meets deception, and where God's grace pushes back against every lie that says you're not enough in Him. Check out this message from our Fragrant Faith series and see how the truth of the Gospel becomes your spiritual firewall—helping you discern the difference between flashy pizzazz, false ideas, and the real power of Christ's finished work. Discussion Questions for 2 Corinthians 10-11: What are some "earthly weapons" people rely on today, and how do they differ from the spiritual weapons Paul describes? How do we practically "take every thought captive"? What does that look like in a day-to-day mental battle? When have you seen someone use their leadership position to build others up rather than tear them down? Why do we often fall into the trap of comparing ourselves to others in life (or ministry), and what exactly can shift our focus back to God's unique calling for us? What does it mean to be "betrothed to Christ"? How does that shape our daily choices and loyalties? In what ways do "false apostles" or modern spiritual distractions pull believers away from the simplicity of Christ today? How can we discern the difference between charisma that may draw larger crowds and genuine Christ-centered power in teaching today?
What is the real point of "where two or more are gathered"?  I wonder if God is convicting me about how I spend my free time. Should I be more devoted to Him? My brother passed away, and I don't really understand whether he was with God right after his death, or waiting for his body, or what?
How does the gospel speak to trauma? In 1 John, who is the group that "went out from among us" because they were never really part of the church? Does this relate to the importance of church attendance? What is God trying to teach me through my back pain?
We see the word "taste" in Hebrews 6 and 1 Peter 2. What does it mean to taste the gospel? Can we still reject it? What can I say to someone who doesn't believe in the resurrection? People online are interrupting my ministry to insist we're still under the Law. What should I do?
Is there really a more punishing Hell for those who deceive women and pray longer prayers? If not, what is the deal with Matthew 23:14? I have been struggling with sexual sin on the internet, and I constantly wonder if I'm still saved. I had to go to the hospital because of it! God showed me something incredible about Hebrews 10:2. Can I share?
I was abused growing up, and it led me to drinking too much. Will that keep me from Heaven? How can I deal with the guilt and shame that has come from the abuse? How can I share my faith with my young adult children without seeming too pushy? *previously aired
My son died from fentanyl. I need encouragement! Can you help? What is the meaning of the Parable of the Talents? Who are the elect? What does it mean to be a fragrant aroma of Christ to God? What kind of repentance is needed for salvation? How do I talk with someone who doesn't believe there is a God?
The Irreversible Work of Jesus You know the first half of the cross: Jesus died for your sins. That's powerful—but it's only part of the story. The other half, the part many never hear, is just as life-changing: You died with Jesus. Permanently. Irrevocably. That reality rewires everything. You're no longer relying on your performance or behavior to stay right with God. Your life is anchored in what He has already done, not in what you do. In this message, we dive into the New Covenant—the one you could spend years in church missing completely—and celebrate how Jesus perfectly, irreversibly accomplished it all: Once-for-all forgiveness, perfect union with Him, and a new nature that makes you hate sin. Watch the full message now and see how the cross changes far more than you think! Discussion Questions: In your own words, what is the new covenant? How is it different from the old? What are the two unchangeable things? Why is this important to understand? React to this statement: Jesus shed His blood once, so you were forgiven by God once. What does once-for-all forgiveness mean for you at the final judgment? React to this statement: I'm allergic to sin and addicted to Jesus. Why does the true definition of "eternal life" (no beginning or end) matter so much? React to this statement: Behavior passages are like God showing us what clothes fit us best!
I was abused growing up, and it led me to drinking too much. Will that keep me from Heaven? How can I deal with the guilt and shame that has come from the abuse? How can I share my faith with my young adult children without seeming too pushy?
What are the "works" that God prepares in advance for us? People accuse me of wanting to have my ears tickled with grace teaching. Is that what Paul meant when he warned Timothy? Do I have to call my husband "lord" to be truly submissive?
Is it okay to break out in tongues when you're in a group? Can you lose your salvation? I am a newer believer, and I've shared my faith with my father and my uncle. However, now I wonder if I did enough?
What's in the believer's heart? Are we fighting ourselves? Does half of you still need to die? What do Romans and Corinthians really say about freedom and sensitivity to others? What do you teach about divorce and remarriage?
