If Las Vegas is to be the last race, the season would need to start at least two weeks earlier. Of course, we may not have the second break next year. But, my point is that the first week of December can be in the 20s F, unusual, but it has happened. Also, The National Finals Rodeo starts on the first Thursday in December and runs for ten days, and it brings in mucho $.

The elevation of Mexico City is just another fascinating twist in the science experiment that is F1. Mexico City is not only more than a mile (5,280 ft) high, at 7,300 ft, it is much higher, approaching a mile and a half. I live in the first "Mile High" city, Albuquerque. Albuquerque was founded in 1706, 155 years before Denver. New Mexico's capital, Santa Fe is 7,200 ft in elevation and is the oldest and highest state capital (founded in 1610.) Thank you for tuning in to the Travel Channel.
