A belter of a story from Trev. Ted Chiang's first published story. Note previous 50 stories was 90 % brilliant as well.

And the sex? Are you a pair of prim Victorian nuns? It seemed to me that you nearly fell over yourselves trying to get away from the topic. It's a key element within the story. Four men and one women. It's a whole dynamic. You spoke at length about the kinder human gestures, but didn't mention sex once. Ellen clearly uses sex as a kindness to the others. For example, Ted tells us how she let him have two goes out of his turn. We also know that she didn't get any pleasure from the experience, but only did it for Ted. It's also striking that in a world designed as a hell, that AM lets them keep sex as a pleasure. This was worthy of a whole section of discussion. You also spoke about how the others protected Ellen on the walk, with one ahead and one behind, as if this were an act of kindness. But the obvious question was 'are they being kind, or selfishly guarding their one source of pleasure?' I feel like you're building a potentially great podcast, but you're already staking 'no-go

Guys, you need to inform yourselves about James Corbett before you start recommending his views on the first world war, or anything. https://rationalwiki.org/wiki/James_Corbett
