Description

Ever felt like you should be better at feminism?

Join comedian Deborah Frances-White and her guests for this comedy podcast, recorded in front of a live audience. Each week they discuss topics "all 21 first century feminists agree on" while confessing their insecurities, hypocrisies and fears that underlie their lofty principles.

Deborah Frances-White is the 2016 Writers' Guild Award Winner for Best Radio Comedy for her hit BBC Radio 4 series Deborah Frances-White Rolls the Dice. She is an Edinburgh Fringe regular, a screenwriter and is in huge demand for her corporate seminars.

Hello Guilty Feminists We're all having to suddenly and terrifyingly get to grips with the New Normal and so I decided to reach out to some friends on Instagram and asj them how they're doing. Every weekday at 6:00pm you can find me on Instagram Live (@theguiltyfeminist) talking to friends of the podcast - people like Jessica Fostekew, Sindhu Vee and Sara Pascoe - about what has changed and what has stayed the same for them since leaving the house became a public health issue. Each day it's the same twelve questions and we're archiving those chats on YouTube and now also as a podcast. We've just popped a single episode into the main feed as a taster. If you want to subscribe, just search for The Guilty Feminist - The New Normal wherever you get your podcasts. So sit back, hit subscribe and find out what coping strategies other people are trying, discarding, keeping, succeeding and failing at.

ahh feminism... "female nature" in political form... solipcistic delusional and envious. It is the cancer of the west. Islam is the only chemo

Avid huge GF fan here but I don't think Deborah did her background research before talking about paw patrol! It's not great female representation but not as bad as Deborah says. 2 out of 8 of the pups are female (not 2 out of 10) and the second female pup is called Everest not sweetie and she's not evil! Sky does not wear a bow, and she does have a job (an awesome one) as she's the only pup who can fly. Love a mother of 2 paw patrol obsessed boys.

Naturally, the producer of the show is going to be protective of her show. This feminist shows courage by telling this story about how she said something wrong. Good for her. 10:00

Many people think electricity is the golden standard for saving the planet but they do not realise this is going to cause a huge growth in the nuclear industry. An industry that has never proven itself safe.

Life changing. As an immigrant in the UK with no family or support network, the guilty feminist makes me feel less alone and that I am part of a tribe. Sounds cheesy, but it’s true.
