Episode 43 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Sportsdigita Vice President of Business Development Doug Holtzman. In his current role, Doug is tasked with expanding the reach of the SportsDigita product across the sport business landscape. In this episode, he’ll share stories of the company’s growth and where he envisions its future.
In addition to his work with Sportsdigita, Doug has worked for ONtrac Sports and Entertainment, Media Brokers International, Learfield IMG College, the Houston Rockets, Tampa Bay Rays, New Orleans Saints, Rockford Lightning, and CAA. He earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Kansas and a Master’s from Northern Illinois University.
Episode 42 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Michele Powell, the Vice President for Programming & Development at the Haslam Sports Group, which includes the Columbus Crew and Cleveland Browns.
Michele oversees the development plans and ideas to bring in and execute new and exciting events to the Haslam Sports Group venues which include Historic Crew Stadium, Lower.com Field, and First Energy Stadium.
Prior to joining the Haslam Sports Group in April 2021, Michele was the Sr. VP & General Manager of Capital One Arena in Washington D.C. working with the Capitals, Georgetown University, Mystics, Wizards and all other arena events. She also spent time with Feld Entertainment and the Washington Wizards, prior to the creation of Monumental Sports & Entertainment.
Michele was also a four-year letter-winner in Track and Field at the University of Oregon, where she earned her degree in Sports Marketing.

In her current role, Jessica plays a key role in the overall operations with a focus on student athlete services, compliance, special projects, and strategic plans.
In addition to her work with the Owls, Jessica has worked at Clemson University, the University of Miami, the University of Central Florida, and Florida International University. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University, Master’s degree from the University of Central Florida, and has begin her Ph.D. at FSU.
Episode 40 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Miami Dolphins Assistant Director of Video Dan Chester. In his current role, Dane combines his love for video and sport by providing coaches and players everything they need from a practice and game video standpoint to help them perform at the highest level.
In addition to his work with the Dolphins, Dane has worked with the Cleveland Gladiators, Ohio State University, Cleveland Browns, DV Sport, and University of Illinois, and also earned his Bachelors degree from Baldwin Wallace University.
Episode 39 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features IMG Academy Associate Athletic Director Jason Elias. In his current role, Jason helps run the day-to-day of the world’s most competitive high school athletic department.
In addition to his role as the Associate Athletic Director at the IMG Academy, Jason has a served as the Baseball Operations Coordinator, Head JV Coach, Head Baseball Coach and Player Development Lead, Baseball Student-Athlete Advisor, and a Sales Outreach Manager and been with IMG since August 2007 and is a Baldwin Wallace University Alum – Go Jackets!
Episode 38 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Tennessee Titans Group Sales Account Executive Cole Horan. In his current role, Cole works with groups and individuals interested in attending a Titans game to elevate their game day experience.
In addition to his work with the Titans, Cole has worked for the Miami Heat and Harris Blitzer Sports Entertainment/New Jersey Devils, interned for the Washington Wild Things and the Pro Football Hall of Fame, worked Super Bowl XLVIII, XLIV, L, and LI and the 2017 CFP National Championship Game, and earned his degree in Sport Management from Baldwin Wallace University.
Episode 37 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Hudl Support Manager Justin Herrin-Knapp. In his current role, Justin helps teams navigate and get the most out of the various Hudl platform services and supervises a staff that does the same. Justin has been promoted twice since starting at Hudl, where he began as a Support Specialist in June 2018 before moving to a Product Consultant and then into his current Support Manager role in April 2020.
In addition to his work with the Hudl, Justin has worked with the Cleveland Indians, Integrated Sports Marketing, Cleveland Browns, and ESPN Cleveland, participated in the events in and around Super Bowl 50 & LI, is also an assistant coach/video coordinator at Nebraska Wesleyan University Men’s Soccer and earned his degree in Sport Management from Baldwin Wallace University.
Episode 36 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation Event Sales/Communications Manager Paul Utterback. In his current role, Utterback helps manage events, volunteers, and communications for the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation and its events. Paul has been involved with the Super Bowl, Final Fours, College Football Playoff National Championships, among other events. Paul is driven to help fledgling professionals gain a foothold in the industry and has designed programs to increase their opportunities at major events.
In addition to his work with the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation, Paul has worked with the New Orleans Pelicans and Crescent City Classic and earned his degree in Sport Studies from Mississippi State University.
Episode 35 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features sport industry professional Zach Mayer. Zach is currently working as a consultant for professional and collegiate sports teams and leagues on matters of ticketing and season-ticket holder and donor relations. Most recently, he was the Director of Client Services for Sporting Kansas City.
Today, he joins us to talk about what the experience was like at the Thursday Night Football game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Houston Texans. He talks about parking, ingress, egress, concessions, the 50/50 raffle, the booing during the Moment of Unity (Silence), and other stadiums features during the game. In her current role, Urban is overseeing the recruitment, training, and management of the over 10,000 ambassadors who will volunteer their time to help make the events in and around Super Bowl LV in Tampa a success.
In addition to her working with the Tampa Bay Super Bowl LV Host Committee, Urban has worked for EY, the University of South Florida, Visit Tampa Bay, and Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Urban earned her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Akron.

Episode 33 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Xavier University of Louisiana Assistant Vice President for Student Affairs/Director of Athletics and Recreation Jason Horn. In his current role, Horn has oversight of Athletics and Student Affairs. This includes the exploration of the addition of new sports and programs, the management of XULA's trademarking and licensing endeavors as well as other strategic university initiatives. He is also on the board of directors of the Minority Opportunities Athletic Association (MOAA) and the Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation.
In addition to his time at Xavier, Horn has worked at the University of Detroit Mercy, Northwestern State University, the World Poker Tour Amateur Poker League, the University of Central Florida, Bowling Green State University, the New Haven County Cutters, the Mobile Revelers, the 2002 Salt Lake City Olympic Organizing Committee, Conference USA, the University of Miami (Go ‘Canes!), and the University of Michigan. Horn earned his Bachelor’s degree in Communications from the University of Michigan.
Episode 32 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Duke University Athletics Department Deputy Director of Athletics/Resource Development and Management/CFO Mitch Moser. Moser's responsibilities include oversight of the department’s financial operation, Resource Acquisition unit, band and cheerleading programs, athletic travel, information systems and game operations. He also serves as the sport supervisor for Duke's men's and women's swimming and diving teams.
In addition to his time at Duke, Moser has worked for Rice University, the Rapid City (S.D.) Thrillers, and the Bakersfield (Calif.) Jammers. Moser earned his undergraduate at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn., where he was a three-year letterwinner in basketball, serving as team captain his senior year, and a master's degree at Ohio University.

Dr. Sheptak is an Associate Professor in the School of Business at Baldwin Wallace University and earned his Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD in the areas of Human Resources, Labor, and Employment and has published articles on precarious labor. Dr. Sheptak has been engaged in the fields of sport and labor for the past 25 years in various capacities and in addition to teaching, still runs his own consulting company, Sixth City Sport & Entertainment, and coaches high school soccer.

It’s a special Thanksgiving Edition (Episode 30) of The Guys in the Cheap Seats where we share the story of Baldwin Wallace alum (Class of ’76) Ron Soeder, who is currently the president/CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland (BGCC) and the interim president/CEO of Boys & Girls Clubs of Northeast Ohio, and Richard Starr, who is a Club & Athletic Director at Boys & Girls Clubs of Cleveland and soon to be BW alum (Dec. ’19). Ron and Richard share their stories and the unique mentor relationship that they developed. It’s a story of providing support and mentorship, taking advantage of opportunities that are provided, and the impact that people can have on one another’s lives.

Episode 26 of The Guys in the Cheap Seats with Charles Campisi features Julianna Rubin. Julianna is the Assistant Director of Operations for Steinberg Sports & Entertainment, a 2nd Year Law Student at the University of Miami (Go Canes!), and a Baldwin Wallace University Sport Management alum.
Julianna started as an Executive Assistant with Steinberg Sports and had previously worked for U.S. Soccer, ESPN Cleveland, Baldwin Wallace University Athletics, the South Florida Surf, and the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission. Additionally, she was an event staff member for Super Bowl XLIX, 50, & LI and the 2017 College Football Playoff National Championship game. For the latter event, Nick was on the field for the 4th quarter when Clemson outscored Alabama 21-7 to win 35-31.
