The Nicene Creed declares that Jesus “for us and for our salvation came down from heaven.” Those words capture the heart of the gospel — that Jesus didn’t just come to teach, inspire, or reform; He came to save. In this message, we explore the stunning truth that salvation is God’s initiative, not ours — a gift of grace that meets us where we are and lifts us into new life with Him.——Pastor Spencer SchroederOctober 19, 2025The Harbour Church—— Take a Step: Follow Jesus: https://t.ly/9kAq Request Prayer: https://t.ly/m474 —— Stay Connected: Website: https://theharbourchurch.com Facebook: https://t.ly/erB4 Instagram: https://t.ly/7ZBq Newsletter: https://t.ly/ILDt#CreedSeries #NiceneCreed #JesusSaves #ForUsAndForOurSalvation #Faith #ChurchOnline #ChristianTeaching #theharbourchurchonline #experiencelife #theharbourchurch #kincardine #kincardineontario
What does it mean that Jesus is “God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God”?In this message, we explore one of the most profound truths of the Christian faith — the hypostatic union, the mystery that Jesus Christ is both fully God and fully man.Through Scripture and the words of the Nicene Creed, we discover that Jesus perfectly reveals the Father because He shares the same divine essence. He is not a reflection of God’s light — He is the Light. And because He became one of us without ceasing to be God, He bridges heaven and earth, giving us unshakable hope.Whether you’re new to church or exploring ancient Christian beliefs, this message will deepen your understanding of who Jesus is — and why that changes everything.Scriptures: Hebrews 1:1–3; John 14:8–10——Pastor Adam FryOctober 12, 2025The Harbour Church—— Take a Step: Follow Jesus: https://t.ly/9kAq Request Prayer: https://t.ly/m474 —— Stay Connected: Website: https://theharbourchurch.com Facebook: https://t.ly/erB4 Instagram: https://t.ly/7ZBq Newsletter: https://t.ly/ILDt#NiceneCreed #JesusIsGod #LightFromLight #ChristianFaith #Theology #Sermon #Hebrews1 #John14 #TheHarbourChurch #experiencelife #kincardine #kincardineontario
How will I respond to who Jesus says he is? A lot of people admire Jesus as a good moral teacher, a revolutionary, or a prophet. But here’s the problem: Jesus Himself never gave us the option of putting Him in that category. He claimed authority, forgave sins, received worship, and said He was the only way to God. If that’s true, we can’t just call Him a ‘good teacher.’ He’s either who He said He is, or He’s not. That’s why C.S. Lewis put it so bluntly in his book, Mere Christianity, He's either a liar, lunatic, or Lord? Jesus' claim forces a choice. What difference does it make to believe that God is our Creator? In this message, we explore the powerful words of the Creed: “I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth.”Drawing from Genesis 1:1, Isaiah 40:28, and Acts 17:24–28, along with the stories of Justin Martyr and Augustine, we’ll see how believing in God as Father and Creator changes everything. It reminds us that we are made on purpose, that creation is entrusted to us, and that our lives find meaning in God’s larger story. The heart of this message is simple: the God who made it all holds it all together. Far from being distant, He is both personal and almighty, caring for us while ruling over all.——SpeakerPastor Adam FrySeptember 28, 2025The Harbour Church——Scripture1 Peter 3:15-16; Psalm 145:3; Acts 17:24-28; Luke 15:20; Romans 11:33-36; Revelation 1:8; Malachi 3:6; John 4:24; Psalm 139:7-10; Isaiah 40:28; Genesis 1:1; Psalm 139:13; Psalm 24:1; Romans 11:36—— Take a Step: Follow Jesus: https://t.ly/9kAq Request Prayer: https://t.ly/m474 —— Stay Connected: Website: https://theharbourchurch.com Facebook: https://t.ly/erB4 Instagram: https://t.ly/7ZBq Newsletter: https://t.ly/ILDt#creed #webelieve #theharbourchurch #online #experiencelife #liveincommunity #discoverpurpose #makeadifference #kincardine #kincardineontario

Gentleness isn’t weakness; it’s power under control. We live in a world that often confuses gentleness with being passive or soft. But in God’s kingdom, gentleness is powerful—it’s choosing humility, compassion, and care even when we could choose harshness. This week in our Good Fruit series, we’re learning how Jesus embodied gentleness and how the Spirit cultivates it in us so that we can restore, build up, and bless those around us.——Pastor Adam FryAugust 24, 2025The Harbour Church—— Take a Step: Follow Jesus: https://t.ly/9kAq Request Prayer: https://t.ly/m474 —— Stay Connected: Website: https://theharbourchurch.com Facebook: https://t.ly/erB4 Instagram: https://t.ly/7ZBq Newsletter: https://t.ly/ILDtSubscribe for more messages in the Good Fruit series, and share this message with someone who needs the reminder that gentleness is a strength the Spirit gives.#GoodFruit #Gentleness #FruitOfTheSpirit #Galatians5 #StrengthUnderControl #SpiritLedLife#theharbourchurchonline #experiencelife #theharbourchurch #kincardine #kincardineontario
Faithfulness is not about perfection—it’s about persistence. In a culture that often celebrates quick wins and instant results, FAITHFULNESS can feel underrated. But in God’s kingdom, it’s one of the most important fruits of the Spirit. To be faithful means to be steady, trustworthy, and committed over the long haul—just like God is always faithful to us.This week in our Good Fruit series, we’ll see how God’s faithfulness is the foundation of our hope and how the Spirit empowers us to live with integrity, loyalty, and perseverance.Guest Speaker: Bill MarkhamAugust 17, 2025The Harbour ChurchTake a Step: Follow Jesus: https://t.ly/9kAq Request Prayer: https://t.ly/m474 Stay Connected: Website: https://theharbourchurch.com Facebook: https://t.ly/erB4 Instagram: https://t.ly/7ZBq Newsletter: https://t.ly/ILDt#GoodFruit #Faithfulness #FruitOfTheSpirit #Galatians5 #GodIsFaithful #SpiritLedLife #theharbourchurchonline #experiencelife #theharbourchurch #kincardine #kincardineontario
Let's explore the profound concept of God's inherent goodness and how it relates to our lives. The core truth presented is that God doesn't just do good things; He is goodness itself. This revelation challenges us to reconsider our understanding of goodness and its source. We're reminded that our own attempts at being 'good' fall short without God. However, through Christ's sacrifice, we can take upon the righteousness of God. This transformative truth invites us to live differently, acting justly, loving mercy, and walking humbly with our God.. As we reflect on this, we're encouraged to stand for truth in a compromised culture, fight for others in a cancel culture, and walk humbly before God in a self-centered world. This message challenges us to not just avoid evil, but to actively pursue what is right and true, reflecting God's goodness in our daily lives.— —Pastor Spencer SchroederAugust 10, 2025The Harbour Church—— Take a Step: Follow Jesus: https://t.ly/9kAq Request Prayer: https://t.ly/m474 —— Stay Connected: Website: https://theharbourchurch.com Facebook: https://t.ly/erB4 Instagram: https://t.ly/7ZBq Newsletter: https://t.ly/ILDt
In our exploration of the fruit of the Spirit, we dive deep into kindness - a characteristic that should define God's people as it reflects His very nature. The message draws from Galatians 5:22-23, reminding us that kindness isn't just an action, but a transformation of our hearts. We're challenged to examine our lives: Are we moved by sunsets? Do we still feel awe at God's creation? Our ability to show kindness often stems from our gratitude for God's goodness. The message beautifully connects our treatment of others with our appreciation of God's kindness towards us. As we reflect on this, we're encouraged to cultivate a spirit of thankfulness, allowing it to overflow into acts of kindness in our daily lives. This isn't about learning to be kind, but about becoming kind through the power of the Holy Spirit working within us.——Pastor Rob KropfAugust 3, 2025The Harbour Church—— Take a Step: Follow Jesus: https://t.ly/9kAq Request Prayer: https://t.ly/m474 —— Stay Connected: Website: https://theharbourchurch.com Facebook: https://t.ly/erB4 Instagram: https://t.ly/7ZBq Newsletter: https://t.ly/ILDt
